Solitaire is a Shuffle AU of Project SEKAI, themed around if the character's lives were just a bit more solitary.

Kiritani Haruka is destined to be an idol of any kind; she doesn't know how to exist without performing. So when a VTuber agency reaches out to her after her failure with ASRUN, she immediately grasps onto it. Her genmates, though... could they feel the same pain as her?

Shiraishi An was betrayed by her family. After her father's admission of her aunt's death, with no group to fall onto, she dove headfirst into the opposite of her birthplace. Idol music.

Kamishiro Rui has always been an outcast. Since his childhood friend Nene ghosted him completely, he drifted towards others like him. First, with Akiyama Mizuki—a fellow trans person, still exploring their identity—then with Hinomori Shizuku—a failed idol—and Tenma Saki; someone always left behind due to her chronic illness. Together, they'll learn how to be humans outside of their pasts.

Shinonome Akito has never been talented. A fact as easy as two plus two. After trying to succeed in Vivid Street, and his awful embarrassment at Crawl Green... he gave up. Yoisaki Kanade is a giving soul, and upon meeting Akito on Nightcord, they form a music duo. Kusanagi Nene is quiet, Mochizuki Honami is kind—together, they can be themselves.

Hoshino Ichika hasn't always been lonely. But, lately... her guitar has been her only company. When she happens upon Shinonome Ena drawing in the park, and offers a lonely hand in lonely hand, their band spirals from there. A group of photographers try to frame the world in a way they can stand.

This is Solitaire. Loneliness doesn't have to be lonely, if you have someone to play the game with.
