Now he can't stay in the same place as Nice. His power to warp structures builds literal walls between them. The ground slowly shifts him away when they stand near each other. Spiked armor appears on his hands when he tries to put an arm around Nice's shoulders, and he only just pulls away, noticing at the last second, and then has to act like nothing happened. That he's not afraid his role as villain will one day overwhelm his control over his powers and actually hurt Nice. That he'll be the one to destroy him.
And Nice? That moment in his PV when he readjusts Wreck's mask...Imagining him being the one to straighten Wreck's outfit before going on stage back when they were just dancers. But now he can only focus on that crooked crown and unaligned mask. He stops seeing Wreck as his friend and instead as a flaw to correct. He'll destroy him in a different way, erasing everything that made him human and wonderful and good. He'll inadvertently confirm Wreck as a villain.
