Seriously, if parents monitor their kids internet access then the government wouldn't have to censor the internet after years of hating on other countries for doing the same thing. I am an adult and I should be allowed to post whatever legal or social media rule abiding stuff I want on the internet.
The most common way these so called free countries are censoring the internet is by Mandatory Age Verification Laws for Social Media. Basically, you must give websites your ID in order to access them. Some sites like YouTube are even just using AI to guess people's ages online based on account activity and then tell them to give them their ID if they think you are minor to prove that you are not.
Those are legit crazy privacy violations.
Also, if the government won't censor. Credit Card Companies can! Credit Card Companies are now censoring video games more than the government itself.
Anyway, monitor your kids online before the fascist nanny state controls your internet too.
