It’s getting closer to Christmas….

This home in Mt. Washington, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh, is insane. After all the work they did, they’ve put it on the market for $1.7m. Look at this.

The thing about a house like this is that you have to try to visualize what you’re getting when they move all their stuff out. You’re basically getting the bare wallpapered walls, so you better like their choice of patterns. 

The kitchen seems big. Not that thrilled w/it, though. It’s not cheerful, kind of dull.

I would imagine that they would take the chandeliers and maybe replace them w/the ones that came w/the house before. 

In the dining room, they’ll leave the matching drapes. 

The bdms. aren’t particularly large. 

Nice view from the master. 

Small full bath.

Nice office or extra bedroom. 

You have to like brown to buy this house. 

There’s a large garage under the house.

If you don’t like being close to the neighbors, this isn’t the house for you, b/c you’re even going to have to share the driveway.

You’ve got a nice deck w/a view, but it’s between 2 very close houses, and this isn’t California, it’s Pennsylvania, so I’m not so sure it’s worth $1.7m. 

But, if you’re looking for city life, you’ve got it, here.
