i remember this page to be something i loved working on back when i made it (it also seems ot be the most reposted one? apparently a whole lot of ppl on tiktok think this page is a single comic and there's like. nothing else to it. thanks reposter.)

further in this is a page that is like. SO important to me personally. wow. like wow. first ngiht and we already dropping major story hints that no one really picks up on (but its ok thats why they are hidden, they are meant to only be understood if u read the comic againa nd again and again)

So, I head canon Perpetua being a lot less adept at summoning than Copia/ has never summoned a ghoul before, because he wasn't raised in the ministry. And the ritual to become Papa requires the summoning of a ghoul.

Trapped in the Papal summoning chambers for hours if not days to no avail, and after another of the countless unsuccessful attempts. Perpetua contemplates his new "mark" (the bloodline eye) and cleans his gauntlets (summoning can be a bloody affair) in the unholy water and doesn't initially notice the summoned Haze/Umbra/Tempest* sizing him up.

Here's an evolution of my Bendy's design. He basically is the classic Ink Demon design but "toon-ified", and has gone through several changes over the years, and has a bit of a backstory for his development.

I have a habit of giving my pieces specific titles. The core idea here is that Nervous Subject can transform into a soul-devouring demonic skeleton (perks of his father’s genes lol). Naturally, Circe and Loki aren't above exploiting that power for their own gain~ I actually dropped a few hints about this form in a drawing I posted last year…

Asmodeus is a devil on the tree of qliphoth. Though, they never made an appearance due to their carlessness and free spirit. Because they don't care about their surroundings, Asmodeus tends to go through with his own private activities. Before Lucius's plan went forward, Asmodeus had a successor to take their place. Kind of like Astaroth.

The same group of scientists that killed Kikai's parents and kidnapped Kikai have a scientist who did an experiment for multiple decades to bring a supreme devil to the surface for what was meant to be a test subject.

With a large group of Diamond Kingdom scientists, and through a controlled long-term devil ritual, the scientist was capable of bringing the devil out from the underworld. The scientist was cheered upon and a huge celebration was hosted while the devil was kept in confinement for many many years. They concealed the devil so the other supreme devils was not capable of locating Asmodeus.

The scientist allowed their successor to take their place when they die off.

This successor then built a strong disdain to the family of Lai because of personal reasons. When the parents of Lai announced they were going to have two babies, the successor was expecting an invitation. When they recieved the news of not being invited, the successor took the chance to "test" the devil's magic and cursed Laideronnette.

Years later, the successor "threw away" the devil off to the strong magic region after being upset and angered multiple times due to the devil's ignorance. The devil then lived there while avoiding humans from sensing their mana.

Then, the devil was lucky to find the same human who was cursed by their own hands.

The devil slowly followed behind Laideronnette, keeping from a safe distance.

There was something about the woman that the devil could not keep away from their soul. Asmodeus found her unique—as beautiful as a porcelain doll.

Asmodeus could not keep this unusual thought from their heart.

An unusual tie. A rope kept so strong between Asmodeus and this woman that they could not figure out what was wrong with them. Yet, the woman never noticed there was a rope tied onto her arm, and that the rope was connected to Asmodeus's heart.

But it is a human, and that they are a devil. It is wrong for a devil to develope such a thought.

One day, Laideronnette was piecing together a dress. The devil watched from above the ceiling, covering themselves behind wood. The devil watched her move her fingers delicately through the cotten to create beautiful patterns.

The devil tripped, and despite falling infront of her, Laideronnette could not see the devil.

Asmodeus was confused. They did not understand why Laideronnette could not see them. Infact, nobody around Asmodeus could see them. But in the strong magic region, Asmodeus was easily seen. Often labeled as a suspicious black figure.

Asmodeus then thought, "this must be the effects of the odd feeling in my heart."

Asmodeus was then in luck when Laideronnette decided to tighten the rope between them and her. As soon as Laideronnette began the devil ritual with Nacht, Asmodeus quickly fell to her feet.

and thou the devil shall live on her shoulder!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Asmodeus represents the sin of lust. Therefore I decided that infatuation magic would work for this devil.

Since Laideronnette went through with an equal contract, but refused to build a close connection to Asmodeus, Laideronnette barely uses the devil's magic.

Infatuation magic changes the way a human thinks about others in terms of relationship. By changing the brain chemistry, a human could go from loving someone to purely hating someone. For example, if the devil were to use one of the magic spells on Noelle, Noelle would come to hate Asta. Asmodeus cannot control the actions of someone, but can control the way they think. Meaning, if the spell were to cause Noelle to think of Asta as a huge enemy, Noelle's actions would come out from her thoughts. This spell is called Antithesis Manipulation.

A spell similar to that one boogie woogie doogie choogie (what the hellio was it called) spell but instead of a fear, a realistic imagery and delusion would be created in the mindspace of a loved one slowly dying infront of your eyes while you may only watch them die off. The purpose is to weaken the mindset, though sometimes it can do the opposite effect to characters that have a strong heart (etc Asta). This spell would work on someone with a weak heart like Nacht (before the spade kingdom arc). This spell is called Phobophobia alteration.
