Ada:

Considers it an immense tactical advantage. It’s not a pretty way for the opponents to die, but it definitely works…

Cait:

She cheers Sole on as soon as they start their charge. She thinks it’s a nifty way to dispose of enemies, with a bit of a show as a bonus!

Granted, the sprinting does make Sole run through fusion cores like a chem addict and their jet, but... Who fuckin’ cares? It’s brilliant, and 100% worth the cost!

Codsworth:

Well, he certainly can’t argue with how effective Sole’s tactics are. At least the deaths are quick, right...?

His cleaning subroutines nearly short-circuit after he spots the mess Sole leaves behind, though. That’s a pain in his ass to get under control.

Curie:

Not a huge fan, but she understands that Sole is just trying to dispose of bad guys quickly. She looks away when Sole charges, even if she’s in the middle of combat herself.

Danse:

He never thought of trying such an unorthodox trick, but it appears to be quite useful! Danse picks up the technique for himself– after asking Sole if he may copy their maneuver, of course. 

He gets a snarky response back about how Sole doesn’t own the trick.

Deacon:

Often makes bad jokes when Sole smacks into enemies... or simply yells “choo choo motherfuckers” and makes a motion like he’s yanking on a train’s horn.

While power armor isn’t his thing, he does like when Sole mops the floor with raiders and he just gets to waltz in. 

Unless, of course, stealth is necessary. It’s hard to stop Sole from bumrushing the enemy, so Deacon tries to keep them off stealth missions.

Dogmeat:

It’s fun to run alongside Sole, and try to keep up! But the people Sole hits don’t seem to enjoy the game very much…

Hancock:

Surprised he didn’t think of that trick first. Yeah, he doesn’t use power armor, but he certainly should have thought that up at some point. Assuming he didn’t already, and just forget. He’ll never know for sure.

Regardless, that’s one cool technique! Super quick and useful. 

Longfellow: 

Can’t believe what he’s seeing, when he spots Sole ram into a group of Trappers for the first time. The Trappers fell like a house of cards.

He’s not too impressed, because anyone can don what’s essentially a wearable tank and run into things, but likes how fast Sole can drop enemies. It’s useful, unless they’re hunting. Then the noise is a pain.

MacCready:

Power armor was always too noisy and ‘up close’ for his liking. Sole does make for a good distraction though! They just run into their opponents, while MacCready can snipe whoever may be left. 

Usually, there’s not a whole lot of cleanup work for him.

Nick Valentine:

Dislikes how Sole just does that. It seems like a pretty painful way to go, if he’s honest with himself. He’ll try and speak with Sole, about not using that particular technique in the future. 

It just seems excessively cruel.

Piper:

It’s a very simple attack– but Piper is a fan. Things are almost too easy, if she’s honest. Sole can just slam into someone, and BAM– they’re dead. At least it’s a nice break from the usual ‘almost die every damn day’ routine!

Porter Gage:

As soon as he sees Sole pull that off, he immediately wants a set of power armor for himself. His Overboss was a literal pain-train! Gage puts all his energy into securing a badass set of power armor, tricks it out with the standard raider fixings, and the two go onto terrorize the Commonwealth.

Preston:

He’s more for killing as humanely as possible– but even he has to admit that Sole’s power armor ram does speed things up a bit. Preston does ask Sole to tone it down a bit, though.

Unless the duo is up against Gunners. Then he’s glad to let Sole run loose in their armor indiscriminately. 

Strong:

He may not like power armor, but he has to admit that it’s funny watching Sole slam into enemies with it. In fact, since Strong is so big, he starts copying them– just ramming enemies with his own body instead. 

It’s about as effective, albeit with more blood since Strong isn’t made of metal. And sharp stuff hurts if it’s pointed at you, when you gallop into an enemy.

He’s absolutely fine with this, though.
