At the time I believed (and still do) that they made a good soldier, and they properly followed orders. Besides they needed compensation for coming with me. To this day sole is a very strong soldier and has great potential within the brotherhood.

they're actually worn on the opposite side from your fingernail, so they cover the pad of your finger, not the nail. a lot of people don't realise that, because most string instruments use the natural fingernail to strum/pick, including other styles of banjo, like clawhammer or two-finger. but if you wear a fingerpick the wrong way, it'll get caught on the strings more often and it makes it harder to play, since unlike your nails it can come loose when it gets caught. because the metal needs to cover the pads of your fingers and not extend the nail, you could probably play banjo while wearing power armor, now that i think about it... :0
Very interesting. I'm not well versed with the old world so learning of it often peaks my interest. Calling it tiny power armor seems like a bit of a stretch, however I still find this intriguing. To be honest I didn't even know that banjo players wore such a thing.
