The creative team behind Netflixs latest horror hit series, Midnight Mass, are turning to The Master of the Macabre for a new limited series. Mike Flanagan has scored an eight-episode order for his Edgar Allan Poe-inspired series, The Fall of the House of Usher. According to Deadline, the series isnt a direct adaptation of the Poe short story of the same name, but the project is believed to be based on multiple works of the legendary Edgar Allan Poe.Created by Mike Flanagan, the limited series will see Flanagan sharing directing duties with his long-term cinematographer Michael Fimognari with each of them directing four episodes. Over the last decade, Flanagan has curated an impressive portfolio of horror with Hush, Oculus, Before I Wake, Quijia Origin of Evil, Geralds Game, and the mighty Doctor Sleep.
