His mind was boiling up. He couldn’t think properly. He never faced such situation before. All he wanted was a simple life. The decision was his only. So many thoughts were going through his brain. His girlfriend stayed by him and held his hand in a such warm and kind way. 

- Let’s go for a walk to clear your mind, shall we? (Lilith)

Jeff nodded quietly and dressed himself up. He followed his beautiful lover. They first took the motorbike and they drove until they reached a nice forest. From there, they walked for several minutes. It was helping for Jeff. He was calming himself.

- Thank you, I needed it. (Jeff)

- No problem~ And do not be worried. I don’t expect you to give your answer today. You still have time to give me your choice. (Lilith)

Jeff smiled and held her hand while they kept walking. 

- Should I still call you Lily? Or Lilith now? (Jeff)

- It’s up to you~ Lily is a cute nickname~ Choose whatever makes you comfortable~ (Lilith)

They both giggled and stopped walking to look at the nature. It was peaceful. Suddenly, Jeff was being grabbed by the neck and was projected to some tree. The impact injured him and made him groan from it. Before she could react, Lilith was being tackled and pushed away from her lover. She regained her composure and freed herself from the tackle. Only to notice it was an angel that was attacking her. 

- What the?! Hey, how dare you attack me and my sweetheart?! (Lilith)

The angel laughed insanely and tried to attack her again. She easily blocked the attack and threw the angel in another direction. She flew towards Jeff and what I seemed to be a demon. However, the angel launched several lightning spears at her. She was forced to use a fire shield to block them. 

- Leonard would have been so disappointed to see you hanging out with an insect~ (Fallen Angel)

- What did you say?! (Lilith)

Meanwhile, the demon grabbed Jeff again by the neck and lifted him with no difficulty. He was laughing and decided to lick Jeff’s neck slowly with his bitter tongue. Jeff was scared and was freezing.

- I forgot how tasty you humans can taste~ I think I will just drink your blood~ (Fallen Demon)

Jeff swallowed but he decided to punch him in the face. That didn’t do anything and the demon smiled in a scary way.

- That’s cute~ You are not as defendless as I thought~ My other victims were not that brave~ Now, don’t move~ This is gonna hurt very bad~ (Fallen Demon)

In just a fraction of second, Lilith could see what would happen to Jeff. She raged and transformed into her demon form. She quickly caught the angel by the head and flew at full speed to also grab the demon by the head with the other hand. Jeff was free while Lilith flew right up in the sky with them.

- I AM GOING TO REMIND YOU TWO WHY I AM THE QUEEN OF THE DEMONS! (Lilith)

She was crushing their faces while flying higher in the sky.  The angel struck her with a lightning spear. It forced her to release them. However, before they could fight back, hundred of fireballs were surrounding them as she launched those towards them. Together, the demon and the angel created a giant fire and electric shield that could barely absorb the fireballs.  Using the smokescreen, the demon flied back in the direction of Jeff. Lilith followed him but the angel was attacking her again to distract her. When the demon arrived, Jeff tried to punch him several times. The demon just dodged them. 

- I will finish this quick~ This is a message from Ghemora~ (Fallen Demon)

He punched Jeff right through his chest. Jeff coughed lots of blood while more was on the demon’s arm. Lilith felt what happened from where she was. She screamed violently. Her body changed again. Her skin became darker and she was having a monstruous demon face. Lilith kicked the angel so hard that she was sent to space. But she wasn’t dead. Heavily injured but not dead. 

- Time for me to go~ (Fallen Demon)

He teleported himself next to the angel and grabbed her before disappearing from this realm. Lilith, in rage, flew directly to Jeff. She regained her human form and knelt next to her lover. 

- JEFF! PLEASE RESPOND! (Lilith)

He coughed more blood and he was barely breathing. His life was fading away quickly. 

- No...no no...don’t die! Not you! Not again! P-Please hold on! (Lilith)

She put her hands on his injured chest and used her powers. She was crying. She was taking away his choices. She was choosing for him. Soon, the hole disappeared and Jeff was feeling much better. He was panting but he knew he was safe. 

- I’m sorry...I’m so sorry...I....(Lilith)

With the strength he was getting back, he put his hand on her cheek and said softly.

- I already chose immortality. I’m glad you and me thought the same. (Jeff)

He giggled and caressed her cheek calmly. She kept having tears but she also smiled.

- You idiot. You are still able to joke in such situation. You are my lovely idiot. (Lilith)

Welcome to the immortal world Jeff :DD you will know live forever :DD. Phew that was hard to write but I made it XD (using the dragon ball fighting soundtrack helps XD)

     Lying on the ground, Guren can feel the weakening of his heart beat with each pulse. His chest is tight, and he coughs blood that he has to wipe away with his sleeve. Internal injuries --- great. His hands are far too preoccupied with applying every ounce of energy he has left as pressure to the gaping wound in his side. Mahiru-no-Yo is a great distance away, since the noble had managed to separate the namanari from his weapon. Without his curse, he can’t heal. At this rate Guren knows he’s going to die in a matter of minutes. Pressing his head against the ground, the raven bites his lower lip. A wry smile curls the edges of his lips, and he chuckles.  ❛ I guess this is only fitting --- koff. ❜ Closing his eyes, Guren accepts his fate. Without anything short of a miracle, he’s going to die. As long as his friends are safe and the nobles dead, that’s what matters.

“Your hair is so tender, Beyana.”

A strict and purposeful angel archer was in her room, alone, deep in her thoughts. Was it the past haunting her? She fixed her hair before braiding its curls into two pretty braids. The mirror was showing the reflection of the warrior and...a lonely person. Despite that she was surrounded with other people, the fact that she has to co-work with demons made her feel irritated and even more outsided from others. Beyana looked at herself, silently touching the tip of her hair. She sighed deeply.

Beyana: Okay, I'm ready for the training. Hope this time it will be-

???: Did this moron disturb you again?

The familiar voice pulled her out of the thoughts as she turned around to see one of her allies, the only angel she could at least discuss something if needed.

Beyana: No, Elyon, Tark is right now on the reconnaissance mission with Kylana.

Elyon: Two demons on such mission? I would be worried about it.

Beyana: No need to be. Kylana would not allow it, plus I trust our boss's decision and choise and I should not have any doubts.

Elyon: So do I. Tho knowing your attitude towards him, I can't help not to worry a bit for our cover. And sanity.

Beyana smiled for a tiny moment before changing her look to the serious one.

Beyana: Do you need something from me?

Elyon: Just want to make sure that you're not late for the training. Which is true, you're getting late for training now.

Beyana: My apologies, needed to fix my hair.

Elyon: On the battlefield you will not have time to fix it. Also, there is nothing to fix in your hairstyle.

Beyana: Heh, says someone whose hairstyle is done according to old samurai traditions.

She smirked as Elyon was about to protest, but he admitted her point. He sighed with irritation.

Elyon: Old habbits die hard?

Beyana looked down, holding a hair comb. Then she looked at her reflection, right into her own eyes, caressing her hair slowly.

Elyon: I remember you used to have long and soft hair.

Beyana: I did....

Elyon: Why did you cut it then?

Beyana: ....For comfortable archer combat.

She stood up as put the comb on the table and started to walk out of the room. As she crossed the doorstep of her room, Elyon added his comment.

Elyon: It's because of them, isn't it?

She stopped and stood frozen, not looking back at Elyon. It was silent for a moment until Elyon broke the silence.

Elyon: I understand that angel's expectations and archangel's expectations are like sky and earth. With your archer mastery and solid warrior look people considered you as one of the new archangel generation. But because of the events that happened, you've lost a belief on it, and so you decided to burry the past of these expectations by simply "cutting them out of your existance". Am I right?

For couple of more minutes they stood still. She felt like every inch of her soul was wounded by such facts. He got the message right. And yet, there was more to it.

Beyana: What if it's true, do you have something against it?

Elyon: Not a slighest.

Beyana: Good. Now if you excuse me, I need to train. I'm already late to it, as you say.

And she walked rushly towards the training room. Elyon looked around in Beyana's room and noticed that a tiny piece of mirror was cut out of it. Judging by the mark, it was done with the arrow, like Beyana was angry at something, so she shoot her own mirror.

Elyon: Your training should be focused on your emotions control, Beyana.

And he silently walked away, towards the training room where he and Beyana began their daily training. Nora was doing her own training, while Tark and Kylana almost finished their mission and soon were about to come back to the base.

And that's another story for our universe^^ Finally managed to write something, even if it's a filler XD Hope you will like it^^
