We all say we don’t have time — to call family, read Scripture, check on someone, or finish simple tasks — yet somehow we always find time for scrolling, streaming, or gaming. Amy takes a look at what our screen‑time reports and digital habits really reveal about our priorities. Matthew 6:21 reminds us that our treasure shows where our heart is, and in a digital world, that treasure is easier than ever to measure.
Amy Lynn shares a candid moment from her own week and offers practical ways to reclaim small pockets of time for what actually matters. From folding laundry without your phone to choosing presence over notifications, these small shifts help realign your heart, your habits, and your attention. Amy encourages you to notice what you naturally prioritize and make one intentional change that reflects God’s love instead of an algorithm.

Have you ever had that moment where someone tags you in a blatant lie, a stranger threatens you in your DMs, or a massive pile on starts in your mentions? Your hands begin to shake, your heart races, and you find yourself tempted to delete the post and disappear into silence. In this bold and empowering episode of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, Amy Lynn identifies that feeling for what it truly is: a spirit of fear. But according to 2 Timothy 1:7, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. In this installment of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, we discuss how to use your digital settings and your spiritual authority to stand firm when the timeline is on fire.
God gave you power, and that includes the power to take decisive action in your digital environment. We explore how the same power that raised Christ from the dead now lives in you, giving you the strength to hit block, restrict, or report without a second thought. You do not owe every troll a reply, and you certainly do not owe them access to your peace. We discuss practical tech tools like turning on comment filters and taking screenshots for your protection. By tuning into Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, you will learn that using these features is not an act of weakness, but an act of stewardship over the digital space God has given you to influence.
We also dive into what it means to have a heart of love and a sound mind in a toxic online world. Love is what keeps you from becoming bitter and mean like those attacking you; it allows you to pray for your enemies while maintaining a strong spine. Meanwhile, a sound mind gives you the clarity to step away from the screen when things get heated. It means refusing to refresh your mentions at two in the morning or arguing with anonymous accounts that were created yesterday. You have the sound mind to remember exactly who you are and, more importantly, Whose you are. Technology is the device you use to block the fear, but the Holy Spirit is the one who provides the courage to post anyway.
The enemy wants you scared, silent, and isolated, but God calls you to walk in the fullness of His gifts. In this episode of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, we offer biblical strength and practical faith and tech steps to help you overcome cyberbullying and intimidation. Fear is a liar, and you already have exactly what you need to shine your light in the darkness. If online hate has tried to steal your voice, let this episode provide the encouragement you need to stand up and keep moving forward. Tune in now for the faith and tech wisdom that replaces digital anxiety with spiritual power, love, and a sound mind.

A late‑night police stop turned into an unexpected lesson in peace, honor, and trust in God. In this episode of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, Amy shares how choosing calm over frustration — and remembering Romans 13:1 — transformed the moment into a blessing. She also breaks down three simple tech habits that keep encounters safe and respectful in a world of body cams and digital IDs: silence your phone, make your ID easy to show, and always announce your movements. This episode is a reminder that respect isn’t agreement — it’s obedience, wisdom, and a testimony of character. Special thanks to the detective from the Mesquite, Texas Police Department whose professionalism inspired this message. Tune in for practical steps and biblical truth that help you honor authority and walk in peace. https://www.amylynn.org/podcast

I want you to take a moment and picture something that might feel a bit uncomfortable at first. Imagine that your closest family member opens your phone the day after you are gone and starts scrolling through your social media from the very first post to the last. What story would that scroll tell about your heart? In this sobering yet deeply hopeful episode of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, Amy Lynn explores the reality that your digital legacy is being written right now, one post, one comment, and one like at a time. Would they see a trail of encouragement and scripture shared in hard seasons? Or would they find arguments you never let go of and memes that tore others down? In this installment of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, we look at how to turn our digital footprints into a living testimony.
Jesus warned us in Matthew 12:36 that we will give an account for every careless word we speak, and in 2026, that certainly includes every careless word we type, like, or repost. This is a heavy thought, but it carries a beautiful promise: if you look at your timeline today and do not like the legacy you see, it is not too late to change it. Your digital history does not have to be a permanent stain; it can be a place where redemption begins. By tuning into Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn, you will discover three tiny tech habits that can transform your feed into a reflection of your faith. We discuss the importance of pausing before you post and asking if you would be proud if that was the last thing people ever saw from you.
One of the most practical tools we discuss is setting a weekly phone reminder called a Legacy Check. We suggest spending five minutes every Sunday night scrolling through your last seven days of activity and deleting or archiving anything that does not look like Jesus. We also encourage you to start adding at least one life giving post every week perhaps a verse that carried you through a difficult day or a sincere thank you to someone who blessed you. These small, intentional acts ensure that your future digital self will reflect the love and grace of God. Your social media presence does not have to be perfect, but it should point people toward the One who is.
If scrolling through your history leaves you feeling a bit uneasy about the legacy you are leaving behind, this episode of Faith and Tech Bytes with Amy Lynn offers the biblical conviction and practical steps you need to start rewriting it today for an eternal impact. We explore how consistent grace and kindness can be quiet evidence that you truly belong to Him. Your timeline can become a testimony that future generations will cherish, providing them with a roadmap of how you walked with the Lord through both the high and low points of life. Tune in now for the faith and tech wisdom that helps you steward your digital legacy with a heart for eternity.

The new year everyone tries to start it off right. But while you are focusing on either your mental health, or your physical appearance don't forget about the wellbeing of your technology and spiritual life. When was the last time you wiped down your keyboard, screen, or your mouse? I even used canned air to clean out the inside of my mouse because I couldn't remember the last time I did that. Don't forget to wipe down your remotes too! As for faith, you could start fresh with the goal to read the whole bible in a year. I did this a few times with several different versions. I didn't really think it would be possible but it is. Jeremiah 29:11 - “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
