A sketchbook page I made tonight. Exploring the idea of physical languages in the Merriway. Speeksee is the language that was possibly originated by the dreamons. Levi speaks a completely different language that has yet been named. It appears as golden symbols which can be formed and used for anything. Its the main language of the timmit and is very difficult to learn. Mainly because there has yet to be any sort of translation between it and other languages. We also have a fusion and some spontaneous characters you may have seen here and there on the blog at some point or another.

Each Dreamon has their own world/country/kingdom whatever you want to call it. It usually follows the theme of the Dreamon. For example, Loxley the Orange Dreamon’s main motiff is food and cooking. His world (Treatopia) consists of creatures that are based off candy and other delicious delights. The worlds each have a special location where the resident Dreamon resides and rules. A sort of capitol if you will. Loxley’s capitol is a large restaurant where he is head chef. Niko’s capitol is a big club that he runs and so on so forth.For the most part anyone can enter the capitol but not anyone can see the Dreamon since they tend to be very busy. Some are more open to their public but many usually require appointments or wont see their citizens at all. And sorry but not sorry ign. There are plenty of other characters out there for folks to ogle. 

A quick Doodle of a full body Niko. I thickened his legs from last time because I think I have too many characters with the big body small leg proportions. He wears a lot of clothes that are eye numbing not only in color but also probably in pattern. After drawing this I think for the lower Dreamons I am going to A)give them nails on their main hands/feet/tails and B) Give them vestigial arm wings? The wings and the hair hands will not have claws since they wont really be used often for grabbing and holding or anything. Also threw in the Merrimonarch Dreamon for size reference. Niko is one of the largest of the Dreamons.

The dreamons are shapeshifters and often take on different forms. This can be for reasons as simple as fun or for handling serious situations. And of course the first thing I would draw them as is a dragon.

Kind of thought up these two body guards while trying to nap. They look all gruff and mean and to most strangers they are but I think whoever they work for treats them very nice so they’re very gentle and kind towards their employer. Also me struggling to keep composed on this dern website. And also a sneaky Z Squared int he corner for @5targuitar

Some sketches of Nether from work today. Playing with his design too. Nether has a big pair of chompers that he can hide at will. He often keeps his mouth hidden away because he feels people shall judge him to be mean and scary if he shows them. He does not like being profiled as a grotesque and cruel creature.

“Im so sorry. I promise they usually have the common civility to put on their daily attire. They are just being purposefully rebellious right now.”

Last one for tonight. Friends are there to give us a lift when we are feeling down.
