It’s going to have 18 chapters unless I feel the need to split one
I’m not sure when the next one will come out as I don’t have a schedule and try to just write whenever I feel like it. Besides, in the last chapter I did say I was going to take a bit of a break from writing as my wrist was in severe pain, that has since died down but I’m taking things a lot slower now to make sure it doesn’t come back. At the very earliest, I’d say end of this month/start of the next, but that’s at the VERY earliest

if sun, moon and the witch (and whoever else) had social media profiles what do you think they would look like? what would they post? would they try to be aesthetic? what would their bio say? (I can imagine sun and moon trying to use it to coax people into revealing their names)

The witch’s profile would be very neat and always fit into a certain aesthetic (specifically a more forest-y vibe), I feel like they’d post frequently about nature or a new brew they’re trying out. I’m thinking something close to cottagecore? They’d probably have an inspiration quote or something as their bio ngl, and would refuse to post about anything even remotely negative (that’s for the disability rant sideblog)
I feel like Sun and Moon would share an account, they share everything else after all! But I think it would be very obvious that Sun is the one running it. Moon would probably only post some of his flute practice, while Sun would post about anything and everything. Saw a rock? Posted. Stubbed his toe? Posted. Ate a weird bug or berry? Also posted. He would try to keep the profile looking nice, but he would fill it with so much color and clutter because “it’s what I like!” It would just become chaos.
Vanessa would barely know how to use it. She would post the kills from her hunts while posing in the same way men pose with fish on their dating profiles.

And is marriage possibly in the probably far future for our favorite oversized bugs? I remember them saying they thought Witch was going to propose in the festival chapter! :>
Soon soon!! We’re nearing the end of TNG, there is roughly 4 chapters left, which means the slowburn is also soon coming to an end. The witch will learn of the fae boys’ feelings towards them soon enough, as well as realize their own, we just gotta get through the storm first <33
Oooo I think marriage would actually be a tough subject for all three of them. Marriage is typically a religious act— especially during the time period TNG is set in— so with the witch’s religious trauma I think they would at the very least prefer to have a non-traditional wedding. As for the fae boys, they have their own marriage-like rituals and traditions from their own culture, so they’d have to bridge that little culture gap before even considering it, despite how lovely they think tying themselves to you for all eternity would be. They would be overjoyed at the mere thought of it, but they would also want to do something that all of you would enjoy.
Marriage won’t be something that happens in the fic, but I think with how much the fae boys would want such a thing— it would most likely happen sometime in the future for our lovely little bugs. After making sure their precious witch wants such a thing of course, and deciding on how to best go about it to not reopen old wounds. They would make it their top priority to give you a ceremony worthy of your grace and best suited to the three of you <33

“NO!" Sun all but screams, desperation making his voice quake. Your heart quickens. "Witch, please! No more of this! Leave it be."
Your legs carry you forward without thinking. "What? No! I thought you promised to tell me things from now on. What happened to that?" You must force your voice to be steady, to not shake like the faerie before you.
Fae boys and the Witch are both gunning for that “can’t communicate for shit” prize. Have some slight calm before the storm <33
