Hi! I'm construct, or fading, I dont care either way, he/him, I'm just a queer guy who likes art, nature, cars, horses, and sunsets. I do enjoy gore, vulture culture (dead animals), have a history with depression and sh and all these can reflect in my art. I'd prefer minors dni. But im not gonna check every blog that follows cus it really doesn't matter, I do not intend on posting anything that would be 18+. (though that may change, but if it does I will go through and check and also make an announcement)
My goal is to turn this into an art(ish) blog (I'm sure it will not stay an art blog if i say it will be one) . I've been stuck in creativity block for a while and as much as I want to make things, I just haven't found the desire to do so. (watch this post be the only thing i post for another three months)

Some skills I want to do for fun, some I want to improve, and some I want to learn because I don't really understand them right now.

For funsizes
Sewing! I love hand sewing and I have a treadle machine that works(kinda) and I'm itching for a good sewing project again.
Linoprints! I used to make them a few times a month but I just ran out of lino one day and never picked up any more
Crocheting! I love watching a single string of yarn become a full piece of clothing, or bag, or whatever.
photography sits between funsizes and improve cus I havent really done photography in about a year at this point and I feel like I've forgotten how to take pictures. I just need to get back out there but...
To improve
Drawing- I can sketch out a good piece every now and then, but to me personally it feels like a fluke, and I want to be more confident in my art. Obviously this is a bit of a broad goal but mentally I've broken it down into a more manageable one.
Embroidery- my beloved and beloathed. I've made a few things via embroidery that I love, and then sometimes I do three stitches, say "I hate this" and then move on.
Watercolor- this one is almost in the "to learn" section. I have done a fair bit throughout my life but, I just cant figure out how to work with the colors like I want to.

Woodworking/carving! I want to carve lil guys! need I say more
Pottery/working with clay- this is more an issue with I don't have access to a kiln and the places near me that rent out space are expensive
Weaving?? This one is not practical at all but I would love to be able to weave. (actually I can kinda card weave, but I dont really understand how to make the patterns do what i want)
Model customization/painting- I have a deconstructed breyer model horse that I keep saying I'm gonna customize and repaint. I have bit off more than I can chew. It is in the "abandoned crafts" holding bin before I either give up entirely or find a burst of energy to keep working on it.
that's the list for now. My only real goal is that I actually put some work into it lol.
