She had just spent the last 30 minutes cleaning that carpet, and now she would have to do it all over again! If she didn't know any better she would have said that the young woman must be one of those Nordic types- they simply had no respect for fresh linens or clean carpets!

The past always caught up with her. Even here.

The show is a worth of paying an attention for anyone around, as she takes few sprinting steps to bring her boot against a tire of a parked car with a growl. A model always parked by the office, one she had seen the boss step out. But when she feels one of the gazes linger on her, her shoulders lift and drop in a sloppy shrug. No mark left, she gestures. Much calmer after that sudden burst, she became uncertain whether the target of her rage had belonged to its rightful owner, or not.

Elena groaned down at her hand as she realized she'd already lost one of her press ons. "I don't even know why I try. I suck at putting these and I am NOT getting better." She sighed and slouched down into herself, defeated. It was a stupid little thing but she could already feel the cascade of noxiously negative feelings breaking containment and seeping into every cranny. It was barely 10am and her day, maybe even her week, was already completely destroyed. "And this was such a cute set."

Belly never really thought clubs would be her scene. A sort of fancy night club in Paris was a far cry from a frat party (or a house party you get wasted at as a teenager). But she was learning a lot about herself these days. And she was having fun. Just a little tipsy, and taking a break from the dance floor, she decides to approach the bar.

That's when she notices the woman beside her, who looked all too familiar. Belly scans her brain, trying to figure out where exactly she'd seen the other before. Then, it hits her, she was an actress. An actress whose name her brain was a little too fuzzy to provide.

He brought his truck to a slow stop by the side of the road, rolling down the window as he did and letting the quiet strings of rock music drift out into the darkening air. He leaned out the window, arm resting on the door so he could talk to the reason he'd stopped, a pretty young girl walking down the side of the dusty road. Now that just wouldn't do, a lady alone like this with night coming and no sign of safety in sight. He might lack humanity but he had decency.

"Pardon me ma'am but I can't help but see you appear to be in a bit of a situation. If it'd be amenable to you I could give you a ride least to the next thing akin to civilization. I swear on my mother's grave to be nothing short of a gentleman the whole way, cross my heart."

He smiled his most charming smile, one that always worked on the humans who couldn't see a scar on him, only his handsome face, straight white teeth and glittering gold eyes. He sent calm, trust and safety on the air with the guitar towards her, giving his suggestion a little assistance. It's not like he could really leave her here all alone.
