Trying out a new technique I learned for mapping faces.
23.11.2018
i went to an animation and film workshop this week which i really enjoyed. the class focused on different styles of animation and the process behind the creation of a film.
for the practical portion of the workshop, we used photoshop to map our face using vectors of colour.
we were asked to take a selfie and to open the image using photoshop. then we were shown how to create vectors of colour to map out our faces using triangles/shapes.
clearly, i am nowhere near finished but i am really enjoying the process of making the mapping selections and using photoshop so there will be an update when the face mapping is completed!

Beautiful tech/performance piece using high-speed face mapping and 1000fps projectors to cast video on dancers as they move. Creative and technical director Nobumichi Asai collaborated with Japanese performance duo AyaBambi. Watch the making-of video here.
Via BoingBoing
Art direction & production in collaboration with Jose BallerZosa for Tareq's new EP. This is the first of the two video clips we did. A very nice project with lots of neon lights <3
