Whumper’s chuckle was low and dark, their eyes not leaving Whumpee’s, making them cringe back slightly. “Oh you're cute. You know, you can keep up that silly little defiant act of yours, it's cute!” Whumpee’s eyebrows furrowed, looking at Whumper in disgust, “Y-you're fucking sick.”

Whumper ignored Whumpee, tilting their head, “Do you know why I love the defiant ones so much?” WHumpee didn't answer so Whumper slowly tucked a short lock of Whumpee’s hair behind their ear, leaning in close and whispering quietly, their breath ghosting along Whumpee’s ear, raising goosebumps, “Because I love watching them break”

Whumpee's eyes immedietly filled with tears, pressing against the wall as much as they could.

The whumper grabbed the whumpee’s chin forcefully, pulling them close when they squirmed, trying to jerk back.

“Get in the car,” the whumper said slowly, voice low. “Or I’ll buckle you in myself.”

The whumpee could hear the sharp edge of the whumper’s tone and suppressed a shudder of revulsion— their blood felt like ice, their heart pumping forcefully as though moving freezing slush underneath their skin. It drowned out every thought of escape and every hope of freedom that whispered across their mind.

When the burn in their chest became too much, the whumpee said in a voice tight with strain, “Hell no— I think I’d rather die.”

The whumper let out a short, humorless laugh that only tightened the grip of terror in the whumpee’s veins. They watched horrified as the whumper’s eyes lit up briefly, flashing. It reminded them of a blade catching light before drawing blood.
