Finished organizing my fabric and fiber stash! I can finally see my floor again! (In this room at least. Now to tackle *everything else* whiiiiiiine)
It's pretty much all thrifted. Yes. Thrifted. Just about all of it. About 95%, and that which is not is a couple wool, linen, and silk remnants from when I worked at JoAnns like 10 years ago.
Left tower - bottom 3 big bins and the small bin on the bottom are wool. Then the linen bin, then two small silk bins, then a silk scarf bin and a thrifted silk dupioni vintage curtain and a thrifted linen duvet I haven't deconstructed yet.
Middle two bins on the ground under the table; a thrifted alpaca fleece I got from Goodwill's auction house, a Shetland roving fleece form 1995 I found at the local creative reuse store bought by someone named Penny, and a mystery wool fleece roving tagged only with the name "Rosie" in quotes, so I assume that's the sheep's name.
Three bin tower under the table; my few cotton fabrics, also some cotton batting and cotton velvet.
Large bin on the right; spinning fiber. So much spinning fiber.
