Funny story, that idk if i told,
Back in early Fable S3, when we were still theorising who/what Quixis was, we were all so convinced and believed they were another Sherb-version, that when it came time for Icarus to learn this (and it be cannonicly confirmed), I remember sitting there thinking, "Why are we (and Icarus) so surprised by this, we knew this for ages, did I kiss something?"
...I was so convinced, I forgot it was a fanon wide theory, and not canon yet😅
Hey I just had a fun concept:
You know how Icarus goes into denial, avoids things and isolates themselves?
Well after becoming Quixis, I imagine they had to take a moment to feel everything, because right before becoming Quixis, they had killed their own dad and had to accept that they were dying and even say goodbye to their loved ones.
So they may have moments when they just cry and let themselves feel or they will throw themselves into Quixis work, fixing things the second they need it.
The worst part? Icarus cant just sleep it off for a couple days. Because Quixis doesnt sleep. So they have to be awake.
They're alone, they cant ignore all those feelings forever
The things I'm thinking about now due to this anniversary stream-
Perix had always always always been doomed from the start-
Legit, like moments after she was a minor god-
I leave now-
If Icarus dying meant 'their story being over', thus their time for Quixis, I can imagine Mixis being more pissed with Fable, since he would cause a reset every time they died.
Visually/metaphorically, I imagine it like Midas trying to "catch" Icarus (especially cause most, if not all, of their deaths involved falling) but Fable catching them last minute and pulling them back up

Like after an almost eternity, Midas can finally retire and Icarixis can start watching over everyone, like Midas did for them. Meanwhile Midas is looking after the things in the Queue, giving them a safe space...
Once again thinking about how Mixis gave Icarus a chance to continue to live their life and in return Icarixis gave Midas a chance to start a new life...
