Look To The Skies Chapter 6: Judgement

Inquisitor S’vari Lavellan Montilyet, an introduction through symbolism.
Color: A mixing of two colors, of green and blue. Once separate, now forever changed from what it was before.
Flora: A willow tree, a symbol of wisdom, a tree often found in the great stories, always bending, bending bending. But never does she break.
Fauna: A Halla. The signet of her people, the quintessential symbol of being Dalish. Being wanted by the sum of its parts. The Shem want the Halla for how it looks, for the fur and leather it produces, what they can take and display from a corpse. The Dalish see the Halla as a member of a community, for the workhorse it can be, those that pull the aravels, the milk and food it can create. It is essential to their survival, no matter how it looks.
An Object: The sail of a ship. A true necessity, without the sails of a ship, any movement forward ceases to be. The sails lead people to connect with each other as ships connect the continents to each other. Made of something simple, fallible, rippable. Decorated with the colors of whomever owns the ship. To be used until only shreds remain.
A song: Across the Seven Realms as sung by Fiona Hunter from The Bard’s Tale IV. “And now I shine above her, the town from where I roam. Forever looking homeward, but never going home.”
A feeling: Weight, unyielding. A privilege to bear, to carry so much. The world is in your hands, the world needs to be held up, how lucky to be chosen to hold the weight. Disregard how your muscles burn, how your bones creak. How you sink deeper and deeper into the ground below you. Someone must hold the weight. You must hold the weight.
Terrible Two’s
Josephine Montilyet has come to the frustrating realization that parenthood is much harder than it looks, especially with twins. Luckily her wife, S’vari Lavellan Montilyet has a plan to try and help her relax.
