Holy fking eyebags
They're HUGE
What the hell
They hate it when you serve dead girl
hey so i’m new to your blog so I don’t know your characters’ names or lore but i just came from that amazing art you did regarding chimkin-samich’s mer!au. it may seem stupid and it kinda is, but i just wanted to say thank you for the very prominent eyebags you drew for that lady in the artwork. i have always had terribly visible eyebags since i was young and i’ve always hated my face because of them. i can’t remember the last time i saw a female character who has eyebags like mine who is still allowed to be seen as feminine and pretty. i don’t know, it just felt nice to see it, and it made me emotional (in a good way). sorry to bother, you don’t have to read any of this
Hello and thanks for the compliment! You don't bother me at all darling, u good ;> About the eyebags, most of my drawings when it comes to my self-insert or kinda ocs of mine tend to have eyebags because I've got visible eyebags too. In this case, shown in the comic, Alice and Roman are in their 40's, an age that shows more wrinkles around their faces. Even yong adults can have marked eyebags due to lack of food, sleep and more reasons... but yeah, including eyebags is something normal doesn't matter the gender :>
Some people might see eyebags as a way to lose interest or beauty into someone especially when it comes to female characters, but to me it just shows naturality of the body and face features. I didn't like eyebags when I was teenager but I learnt that it wouldn't matter, your body is growing and you can't stop it, it shows part of who you are but it's not something even wrong (unless it comes from healthy circumstances). Happy you felt some connection physically as seeing it made you feel emotive in a good way, It brings me a lot of love and expression to my artworks, thanks for the message! >w<
im developing eye bags… i’m going to cry

when artists have their own personal art quirks, specifically when drawing certain facial features... i loooooooooove using my own insecurities in literally every face i create, eye bags + nasolabial folds combo gonna do every time 😛
