What's up with that picture of the house you have to stare at during eye exams?
The house picture you have to look at during an eye exam is a test to see if you have the eye from The Eye.
In The Eye (2002, by the Pang Bros.) and its American remake, a woman gets an eye transplant that leaves her able to see ghosts. The house in the test is haunted, and if you have such an eye, you will see the ghosts.
If so, you will be struck from all eye donor lists and given tickets to the Season 47 premiere red carpet screening of Ghost Hunters. So for your supernatural sanity, eye donations, and viewing salvation, hope that you don't see the ghost.
