All around @pikeslodge you will notice stunning pieces of art in many different styles and you can get a little tour of the artwork displayed by none other than the owner Jay 🙂 Hard to miss him as he stands at the entrance greeting guests but he can share so much about the property and the area 🙌🏾 Enjoyed staying here (it’s just minutes from the #fairbanks airport and they have a shuttle service to and fro) and the staff are just lovely! On the last day in @explorefairbanks we made it to @denalinps for a little walk around the park in knee-high snow, and then some moose sightings of course! 🙂 Walked by a ranger station that had set up a bonfire for #winterfest so we could do s’mores and indulge in some hot chocolate before the trek back 👍🏽 Despite a few hours delay, our @alaskarailroad ride finally showed up and we got to get the train back into #fairbanks 🙌🏾 All in all I’d say this was a pretty good first trip to #alaska and a wonderful time thanks to the lovely folks at @explorefairbanks 💕 . . . . . #satwfairbanks #explorefairbanks #SATW #losangeleslife #travelblog #travelmagazine #traveleditor #travellifestyle #travelwebsite #magazinepublisher #travelerandtourist (at Fairbanks, Alaska) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cahs8EvOtZV/?utm_medium=tumblr
