✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

I wanted something that evoked "Ellie" but elven, and in a different sort of direction than "Elthrandor". Eventually I landed on Elythra. Because they were raised with their bio dad, their full name here is Elythra Ryu.

Like their siblings, Elythra is 13.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

Nope! They are aro/ace.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Lyth also loves sweets, but they like their dad's cooking even more. They're a big fan whenever he gets the ingredients to make a very fruity tteokbokki for them.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

They're currently a magical student on the isle Lethe in Eikas.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Out of the triplets, Lyth likes just being out in nature the most. They also used to really like visiting the theater, until they realized with their awakening empathy that all the actors were just Iryle's puppets.

🎯 -What do they do best?

They have a better sense of empathy and understanding of emotions than many due to their powers. They don't always know how to handle emotions (especially ones that aren't theirs) as a 13 year old, though.

🥊 - What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Lyth likes their alone time a lot. It's precious to them. They also like playing dress up quite a bit. They really hate being in crowds.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

It's weird to think of it as a best memory but it's probably when they first found out that their whole life and world was built on a lie and they had family outside of the island. It was scary in the moment but it gave them the strength to act on it.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

Their empathy was on the fritz (happens sometimes) and it was raining. Rain on Lethe has amnestic properties especially for humans, and it was the first time they realized that not only was their dad starting to lose himself, but it was tearing him apart to be starting to forget his child.

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

No, but it's very similar. They're a pretty recent OC so I started putting them in Exordium pretty shortly after they were made for Prophecy.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Ellie died and I needed a backup character!

The culmination of Ellie's arc was to make a terrible choice, which coincided with the ability to make a wish. Long story short, they are the reincarnation of their favorite character and had to finish his quest as well, because he died before it was completed. When they made their wish (closing off hell permanently at the cost of the Veil hiding the magical world, and their life), they reincarnated on the spot into Elythra.

Lyth themself I wanted to be kind of reminiscent of Ellie but fully elven. I also had been taking in some empath media (The Bright Sessions + Theo from Haunting of Hill House) so I wanted to try my hand at it, and it felt like the most natural progression of some of Ellie's abilities.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

Dark Souls but for mages exclusively. There's a future that exists for them as a wandering necromancer and ice-elemental sorcerer, wandering the hadal zone at the bottom of the ocean.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Agender, Aroace, they/them.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

Two siblings, and they have an inkling of them because their father talks about them both when he's a little delirious. Elythra already cares very deeply about them, especially when they start to realize that their siblings are both still alive.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

They care very much about their father, and worry constantly about his health because he's human. They know about their Archmage birth mother and are a little intimidated by her. Iryle is a surrogate mother figure and they were close with her when they were younger, but as they've grown they've started to see through her as a manipulator.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I like how serious they are. The other two siblings have a silly energy to them because of the rp goofing but Lyth has always had a much more somber, sad air to them. A melancholy.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

Not as much these days but I do write about them. I have some plans. I also think about them quite a lot because I think they have the most interesting life post-story.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

Nope! Might pull a Clariel with them if anything.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

They don't like crowded places, and they get overstimulated pretty easily. Not the same time as a phobia though. They're reasonably tough once they're uncomfortable, they just don't like being uncomfortable (who does?)

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

They don't really have a specific rival but in Prophecy they rehabilitated the final boss, the Leviathan, as their familiar, and they do something similar in Exordium with a trapped dragon spirit (Levyphystri, to fit my naming conventions).

🎓 - How long have you had the OC?

Their official birthday is Valentine's Day, 2022 irl. (In game it's April Fools Day, 199Y) A little over two years. I've had them a bit longer but a backup character has the luxury of a specific debut.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

Technically this was Tony's doing I believe. He named Elthrandor Sessamine with the logic of "a name that fits his elven naming scheme", in a world where Ellie was raised by U'tlunt'a. If I recall correctly as well, this was where Thrandy came from in the first place!

Thrandy is the same age as Ellie, though minutes younger. She will tend to remain aloof about it and go "almost 14".

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

In the campaign they got jokingly paired up with Log, a fankid of the two Animus Vitrum leads. Log's hardass personality simply meshed well with their prim and haughty tendencies.

In Exordium, their royal standing isn't as secure, so their personality isn't as pompous. Regardless they're set up currently to be dating Ida in the future, potentially.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Like Ellie, she needs to eat copius amounts of sugar because of her elf heritage. But she prefers spicy foods, especially savory types. She really likes her mom's shakshouka with some sweeter peppers and honey in the sauce.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

He's currently the crown prince of the kingdom of Musaphia, though it's kind of an honorary title because the place is in tatters on top of their present plight. So right now he's basically a wanderer. Isn't making much of a living.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

She likes listening to music, podcasts, and collecting laemellograms. She isn't as cerebral as her siblings, but she still has a healthy appreciation for learning. She also enjoys keeping fit and practicing various fighting techniques. In Prophecy she also liked working on cars (specifically a fancy Night Court type of vehicle that was shaped like a bronze bug) and listening to jazz (covers of 90s music).

🎯 -What do they do best?

Of the triplets, she's the best at combat. She's been trained by the royal guards and by her mom, from whom she inherited a magical technique that lets her grow her fingers into long claws.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Thrandy loves physical activities and adventure, stories and games, and seeking out all kinds of excitement. She gets bored really super easily and doesn't deal with it well. She does secretly like holding court, but only if there's going to be drama for this reason.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

It was after a particularly rough training session with his mom. U'tlunt'a patched him up but then took him out to the market as a special treat, as she very rarely leaves the palace grounds with her station. There was a big to-do and the endorphins were definitely helping.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

Watching his mom sacrifice her life for him by trapping herself in a soul jar with a war machine. Then later watching Ida get herself cursed and being unable to help her.

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Nope! Their design has been a little all over the place. Their Exordium design has been a little but more stable but could also change in the future as I decide more of the world's aesthetic.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Originally, a silly roleswap au between Ellie and their girlfriend Nymra where Ellie was the suave royal-in-distress and Nymra was a goofy chuuni hero. Ellie in this au was an elf named Elthrandor, and the dm and I were in talks to try and canonically retcon them into being a half-fey changeling because we liked the idea so much. He surprised me with Elthrandor during the campaign.

Lately, it's been a lot of Olivier from Hello from the Hallowoods as well as Coco from Little Witch Atelier.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

I think high fantasy, but with a little more courtly intrigue such that the little extending claws are a more perfect spy type utility! Unfortunately this is an apocalypse story. Alas. They get to do this better in Skylands.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Thrandy is bi and genderfluid and uses she/he/they.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

He has two siblings but he doesn't know them, so he's very only-child about everything.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

She's very very close with her mom, Archmage U'tlunt'a Spearfinger. Her bio dad, Daeyim, is out of the picture due to Circumstances, but she's very resentful of him being absent.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I'm still feeling him out, which is the fun part. When I'm adapting an npc that exists for a specific goody niche for a serious character arc, the fun lies in finding where I can really make these characters squirm and suffer the most. I also like how much he works as a foil for his siblings, being an opposite in a lot of ways but a parallel in others.

A bit less than the other two triplets but she does have the most written fic currently in Exordium.

Not really. I just don't think I'd get much mileage from it currently.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

They're a little squeamish when it comes to things like heights. And the dark, which is not great for the eternal night world.

🍩 - Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

They butt heads with Lilibeth a lot but everyone does because she's got a difficult personality. They also are definitely going to be fighting both Ida's brother Goliath and Lili's mom, V'rylla.

🎓 - How long have you had the OC?

The au was created in late 2020. I don't remember exactly when they debuted in game but it wasn't too long after. This makes it about 3.5 years.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

Ellis "Elysium 'Ellie' Grimmsbane" Turley-Sessamine started as just Ellis Turley, because it was the most white, boring, bland name to contrast with their chosen chuuni name, Elysium Grimmsbane. (This ended up being a blunder because I ended up making them Korean on their dad's side, but c'est la vie.)

I ended up shortening their name to Ellie for symbolic reasons (Ellis and Elysium acted in different ways, where Ellie was a synthesis of the two), and they eventually found their birth mom, U'tlunt'a Sessamine.

I use different combinations of their name in different settings. More fantastical settings get Elysium where more mundane ones get Ellis, and so forth.

Ellie is 13 almost 14 and will tell you the fraction of the year as well. I've also rp'd them in their early 30s once they have kids.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

They have two canon partners, their elf princess girlfriend Nymra Simeon, and their healer goblin boyfriend Mango Sunwood.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Anything with a ton of sugar, because being half-fey they need a lot more sugar to survive. They're rather infamous for canonically making that pizzadilla cake that went viral on here a while back, but making it even sweeter.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

Odd jobs. They ran inventory for a magic shop as a kid, they're in school to become the Night Court Archmage like their birth mom, they're the personal knight for their girlfriend, they're an adventurer, they're a monster slayer, they'll clean your house, they've worked fast food, they're a stagehand, you name it.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Reading doorstopper fantasy novels that use way too many thees and thous. Singing and dancing. Talking over movies. Coming up with elaborate schemes. In Exordium specifically they like to collect unique old scrap junk they find. Though it's probably not actually from before the war, they like to pretend it is.

🎯 -What do they do best?

I genuinely do think their skills lie in both their big-hearted empathetic nature as well as their meticulous planning ability. They're kind of a middling mage and fighter, but their abilities highly depend on their relationships so it's fine.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Ellie HATES swimming and going to the beach and all that. They also don't really like wearing swimwear or skintight/revealing clothing.

They love watching movies and joining clubs.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

Any one of their reunions with their loved ones after a long time apart. Any successful plan that goes off without a hitch, with everyone coming home safe and sound.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

They have a few. In Prophecy, it'd probably be the chain of events that led to them giving V'rylla a bit of their soul, tied with them feeling like they contributed to the chain of events that led to Marie's death.

In Exordium so far, it's when they lost their legs, and the whole period of time as they were adjusting to that. They felt like a huge burden on this giant quest that was their own idea, especially not being able to travel on their own.

Nope! Ellie is weird because I was intentionally tweaking their design over the course of their original campaign, Prophecy. They have a slightly different design in all of their aus, and for Exordium as well. They just have such a fun little mix-and-match set avaliable for their various hair/eye/skin colors.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

A large number of things, mainly my own life as a cringe little nerd teen, but also Kaido from Saiki K and Angel from Hatoful Boyfriend. You can still kinda see it in them.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in?

They're so versatile, as a chuuni. They're either a plucky and naive young kid in a high fantasy or a kinda cringe weirdo in a non-fantasy.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Agender (but not really going for perfectly androgynous!) and poly bisexual.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have?

1 that they were raised with in Prophecy and 1 adopted sister. Thrandy is their canon half-sibling in Prophecy as well, and Lyth eventually also gets the sibling treatment. In Exordium they are one of a set of triplets, though they still have the canon brother they were raised with. So, anywhere between 1 and 4 depending on your definitions.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

In Prophecy, they're very close with their parents but they started the campaign kind of going through a phase where they thought that they were all boring, which was eventually debunked as they learned more about the world. Their bio dad is their adoptive dad's brother and they were a little frosty towards him at first but warmed up quickly. Their bio mom they were terrified of at first before they knew that she was their bio mom (because their girlfriend Nymra was also very scared of her due to a childhood discipline-related interaction) but after getting to know her, they decided that she was the coolest ever.

In Exordium, they're still pretty close with their adoptive parents, but the relationship is more strained because of the difficult living situation they're in as nomadic junk scrappers. When they eventually find out about their bio parents they're going to be somewhat hurt, but eventually come around about the circumstances of their separation.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

I love how many layers and sides to Ellie there are. They really shine in facets. They're fun to angst about, they're fun to do shenanigans with, they're fun to write some serious storyline with, they're fun to use as an excuse to overanalyze things.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

I don't draw them NEARLY as much as I used to, but I still write for them from time to time because of all the active rps they're still in, in one form or another.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

Many times. But never permanently. I just like to scare my friends with the notion.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

They have a fear of deep water. Originally I was going to give them a repressed memory of an almost-drowning. They also canonically had a general fear of vampires due to a repressed childhood incident with one. This also kind of manifested as Ellie simply never behaving normally when forced to interact with the vampire NPCs and enemies in the campaign.

The trapped angel, V'rylla, is kind of the ultimate enemy in every one of their settings. She always is close to Ellie and often in their head, subtly manipulating them into giving their soul away in pieces to her.
