I saw a thing and was inspired.
They set up camp in the sprawling roots of a great tree. The radiolaria sizzling under its bark is a pleasant background noise, loud enough to drown out the whispering of the flowers. Elsie lays out the tarps they’ve been using as bedrolls, stolen from a simulation of a farm they found sticking out like a sore thumb in a vast asphodelia meadow. Far above, false stars glimmer in the night sky. “I am…” Praedyth starts, trying to identify the displaced feeling in his stomach. “Hungry. I think. I’ve forgotten…” He stares down at his own body in wonder. “I haven’t been hungry in a long time.”
Chapter fourteen: Eden
I don't remember if it's in Destiny 2, but you know how in Destiny 1 you can sometimes get a patrol objective where your Ghost randomly recieves a coded message from an unknown source, and you have to try doing different things to unscramble it?
There's a version of Ghost's dialogue that ends with "Wait, could this have been a signal sent by... Never mind."
And every time I hear that, I wonder if he was about to say "the Stranger."
Thank you for the cool rifle, Elsie. I will treasure it forever and use it constantly wherever I can get away with year 1 stuff.
Love you (platonic).

I wonder if newer Destiny players truly appreciate the amount of memes "I don't even have time to explain why I don't have time to explain" spawned in the early years.
Elsie, I love you, but you're never living that down.
Ana and Elsie's adopted sibling relationship gives me life.
I love that even with Elsie's failed-timeline trauma, and Ana's amnesia, they still manage to rebuild that bond and be there for each other, even when they don't agree on everything.
They're in the midst of the apocalypse, but Elsie still gets to meet Ana's girlfriend, and of course there's the obligatory sibling bonding activity of telling their evil grandfather to eat shit.
Did we ever figure out why she had this or why she was even on Neptune to begin with?
