He has a hard time forming and keeping up with multiple deeper relationships at a time as well, so even in QPR kind of situations it would be more likely for him to be monogamous, but not because he wouldn't necessarily be open to a poly situation

Also I missed some lines for a dwarf Inquisitor when asking Cole about templars:

I think the red templars have a lot closer connection to grey wardens and blue lyrium templars are closer to dwarves which is interesting. Thought these might be something you'd like, hope its not a bother!

I love talking about dragon age and dwarves so this is the opposite of a bother <3 thank youuuuu

But uuuuuhhmmmm that dwarves are more quiet to Cole it's very interesting... does that mean he feels their pain less or it's harder to connect with them? And it's fun to see that he finds that to be more peaceful kinda deal...

Honestly crazy that they do all this and they don't give us a relevant templar dwarf to talk about all this stuff... it's so interesting. I know there is one in some book I think? But I would had liked them in the main game... I don't know if they talk about difference lyrium experiences or something.

Amal LOVES fruits and all sorts of cheeses and dried meats - the charcuterie boards she sets up in her temple might as well be the work of the gods with how much detail and thought she puts into them.

Fave flowers are definitely irises (what she has braided into her hair in the artwork!)

Preferred type of dress? anything that makes her feel fancy!

Likes hot weather because she can swim in the stream with the other priestesses and they get to do splashfights and sunbathing <3

As for the cooking! I think on the OC introduction game I put Asma's favorite food down as Mansaf (it's also my favorite food), but Mansaf is definitely more served during special occasions so she wouldn't be making it regularly. So if she does it's absolutely a labor of love and she wanted her kids to be excited about it - I think Cullen would like it too because it's lamb and yogurt sauce, you can't really go wrong. Molokhiyya gets served a lot as well, just because it's pretty simple to make.

I can imagine she probably makes dreaded childhood foods for the kids like kousa mahshi (stuffed zucchini) and *shivers* bamiya (okra stew). It's part of the character development of any Palestinian child, so it's only fair. The kids walk in and see a huge pot on the counter and know they're going to be eating bamiya for three weeks. pain

I think Cullen would learn a lot of the recipes from Asma's nan to make for her and the kids, so even if they aren't at the clan, he can still make her foods that remind her of home. He's actually who I imagine doing most of the cooking. I have a specific headcanon where Cullen learns how to make Maqlubeh (upside-down rice) specifically due to the flipping of the pot over, and he gets really good at it. I don't know if you've seen the maqlubeh flip videos but cullen would put those warrior arms to work. And when they are at the clan, Cullen always gets conscripted to lift things or fold grape leaves.

What is your favorite part of the process when you're creating/working on your characters? When do you figure out the backstory and just general shape of them? Before or after you start drawing? Or somewhere along the way?

This is a toughy! It's not super linear, wrt making a character as a whole. I usually start with a super basic idea, and then slowly pick at details about them while designing them. Sometimes I get A Shape in my mind, and create a personality and backstory around that as I make the design. If that makes sense?

I think my favorite part, is somewhere between making the character and designing their styles. Where I get to just sit with their design and try and figure out what I want to see them wearing. What fully defines their character as a viewer would see them. Figuring out little details about why they would dress in specific or unspecific ways. If they wear their favorite color, or if they wear a pallet that's more design specific.

I think also having character that I play in video games/ttrpgs is incredibly fun in the ways where you find out about them outside your little mind vacuum. Like, for example, I was playing dai with Reade, and found an singular coin in a trunk on the stormcoast. And I dubbed it his lucky coin.
