Exile or Execution au, but throw in some multi-dimensional madness as Furina!MC is yoinked by an alternate version of Neuvillette on the day of her exile or execution, and taken to an alternate Teyvat where an alternate Fontaine celebrates her 'return'.
Furina!MC is honestly too terrified and confused to ask what happened to this world's version of her. But going by this alternate and more emotional version of Neuvillette's reaction, the utter madness and soul crushing regret in his eyes... what ever happened to her, it wasn't at all pleasant...
Adding to this is how the citizens of this alternate version of Fontaine were literally climbing over one another to talk to her, to spoil her, to love her-
The Melsuines weren't any better! In fact, they were the most brutal of them all. Feral and hissing, calling her mama, crying and clinging to her clothes-
And all the while, Furina!MC was still so scared and confused. Because one moment she was being thrown away like trash by both her lover and nation, the next she was in a similar but also so very different world, with so many familiar faces, yet also, so very different...
And this version of Neuvillette... he would not let go of her hand. He would not leave her alone. He was always there watching her. Always... watching...

horrible thought i had: they actually manage to get a hold of wes and rush an execution but ho-oh just shows up and resurrects him again
[Post in question]
This got depressing and really long... enjoy this alternate meet cute idea!
Wes walks through the forest, utterly calm as the sun filters through the trees. He can hear the chirping and buzzing of wild Pokemon, a symphony that he's never heard before soothing him as grass and leaves crunch beneath his boots. It should be overwhelming, but it's like the wild is calling to him, beckoning him to join them and become one with nature again.
Yes. It's a great day to die.
They made it farther than he expected. Wes and Rui successfully snuck past Border Control, but when they entered Unova, Wes was arrested and put under the custody of Interpol.
Apparently, when Wes left Orre, someone tipped off the International Police that Wes Wolf had 'breached containment.' The crimes on his arrest warrant would add up to five life sentences, trapped in a prison with no chance of parole- or, as a mercy, voluntary execution.
"I have two requests. Show my body to my Pokemon, so they know I died and don't think I abandoned them. Kill me outside."
"You don't have to do this," the police officer behind him says. "A trial still needs to be held-"
"Don't try to convince me now," Wes cuts him off, keeping his gaze firmly on the beautiful landscape in front of him. "Just do it."
Abstractly, he knows he hears the officer pull his gun out behind him. But his mind is focused on the Pokemon he can spot hanging in the tree branches or sniffing the ground.
He hopes his body feeds lots of wild Pokemon-
Leon can hear his heart racing in his ears- he feels like he can't run fast enough. If he doesn't make it in time, a boy dies.
"Interpol has asked for some help on an emerging case."
"I know I'm technically just here for the Pokemon World Tournament, but I'd be glad to help in any way I can."
"Leon, you just turned eighteen what, a few months ago? No one would blame you if you didn't want to step in-"
"I'm already involved in another ongoing Interpol investigation. I'll be fine... Is that- Leo?!"
"No, his name is Wes-"
"No, that's definitely him! I have to go-"
"Leon- wait, damn it-!"
He can hear the others shouting at him, trying to get him to slow down. But he can't afford to stop. He has to hope and pray that his sense of direction doesn't fail him now as he weaves through buildings, making his way to the police station.
"But I want to help! How am I supposed to not worry?"
"I get it kid. How about this? When you become an adult, you can call me and I'll add you to the case, alright?"
"Just you wait. I'll get big and super strong and super tough, and then I'll save him! I'll save Leo!"
He sees the building with the words "Police Station" on it and makes a beeline for the glass doors, accidentally knocking a man over in his mad dash.
When he enters the station, he finds that it is bustling with activity. What catches his attention is a girl with bright orange hair pulled into pigtails, tearfully arguing with an officer trying to calm her down.
"Look, ma'am, I'm sorry but I can't let you see him-" "Why not?!" "Because- Wait, Champion Leon?!"
He wants to respond but he's out of breath, having to physically bend over to keep himself from falling over as he forces air into his lungs. It only takes moments for the others to catch up to him; he can't hear what they say to him, too much is going on all at once and he can't pick anything out specifically-
BANG!
Leon doesn't recognize what the loud, deafening sound is. Lance looks as lost as he is, but everyone else looks shaken as the whole room goes silent and still.
"Was that a gun?!"
Lance marches over to the front counter, shouting to demand answers from the officers. Leon is frozen place, overwhelmed, the weight of the panic and dread and fear crushing his lungs. Distantly, he can feel Alder put his hand on his shoulder, and he can hear Iris ask if he's okay, but he can't respond.
His brain latches onto something one of the officers says. "Officer Daniel took the detainee to the back of the station-"
Once again, Leon starts running. He almost knocks Alder over in his haste, dashing out the way he came to dart around the outside of the large, intimidating building.
The first thing he hears as he turns the corner is the sound of wailing. An Espeon and Umbreon are sitting around the body on the ground, blood covering their paws and snouts as they crowd around their trainer. There's so much blood, painting the blue jacket and the grass dark crimson.
"WES!!!"
The girl from the station barrels past him, running to the collapsed body on the ground and falling to her knees next to the Pokemon. He can't hear the conversation that Lance is having with the pale-faced officer standing there, or whatever Iris is trying to say to him. He's only pulled out of his trance-like state when Alder gently turns him away from the forest, and he can no longer see the blood.
"Young man, there's nothing you can do now," Alder says, putting his hands on Leon's shoulders. "You should return to the hotel and get some rest-"
Wait. That's not true. The gift Mustard gave him. The old man said that it has the power to summon Ho-Oh.
He shrugs off Alder's hands, frantically searching the pockets in his cape as he ignores Alder and Iris's questions. "Where is it, where is it, where is it- There!"
The iridescent feather almost glows in the sunlight. He holds it up in the air, hoping and praying that it'll do something and that his old mentor didn't lie to him.
"Is that Champion Leon?" "Leon, what is that?" "What are you doing?" "Is that- How did you get a Rainbow Wing?!"
In his hand, the feather starts actually glowing, before dissolving into specks of glitter. He hears the caw of a mighty bird, covering his eyes as a bright light nearly blinds him, bracing himself as the wind from the great flapping of wings almost knocks him over.
When he opens his eyes, the clearing is quiet, with even the wild Pokemon and rustling leaves staying silent. He holds his breath as he waits, until he sees the body on the ground stir, bloody hair moving to reveal beautiful amber eyes.
The girl starts sobbing, grabbing the boy by the shoulders and wrapping her arms around him. The Espeon and Umbreon start crying again; instead of sorrow, it's with relief.
But something's wrong. Leon can see the colors swirling around everyone- Lance has shades of green and blue of confusion and worry, the girl is glowing a bright yellow of relief, even the Pokemon have an aura of yellow and green around them as they rub their faces against their trainer. But the boy (Leo or Wes or whatever name he goes by now) has nothing around him. It's like he's still dead.
"Leon, what is going on?" "Yeah, did you hit your head on the way here?" "Young Leon, you did what you came here to do. It's time for you to fill the rest of us in."
Leon shakes his head, readjusting his hat when it nearly falls off. "Something- something's wrong. Why doesn't he have any colors around him?"
"Colors?" Iris asks, with a worried expression on her face. "What are you talking about? You're acting like a totally different person... It's scary..."
Right. They're used to Champion Leon. Champion Leon wouldn't have mentioned the colors, wouldn't have run off without saying anything to his friends, wouldn't have freaked out in the first place. His persona is passionate and a little bit ditzy, but is completely divorced from this desperation and burning conviction to save someone he's only ever seen a picture of. In a few minutes, Leon has completely dropped the mask he keeps between himself and everyone else, and he can see the worried fear on Lance and Iris and Alder's faces.
He plasters a version of the mask on his face again, trying to smile and give off the reassuring glow he's known for. "Sorry for worrying you guys! I'll explain everything later, just give me a moment, will you?"
The three of them look between each other, clearly not buying it, but they don't stop him as he walks away. Leo- Wes is sitting up, the red-head completely wrapped around him. He can't read the expression on his face, bright amber eyes connecting with his as Leon kneels on the ground half a meter away from him.
"Hello, Wes." He has to force the cheer into his voice, the sickly sweet tone nearly choking him. "I'm glad to finally meet you. I'm Leon, Champion of Galar."
Wes's head is still spinning.
His entire body is fuzzy and tingly, as if he's high on something. He can feel too much: his jacket rubbing against his arms, Rui clinging to him, tears soaking into his sweater, his Pokemon rubbing their faces against his legs. Whatever drug is in his veins is clearly supposed to make him feel good, completely at odds with the deep crushing disappoint he's currently feeling.
Why? Why is he still here? He's supposed to be free, damn it!
He forces himself to stay still and limp in Rui's arms. He doesn't want to hurt her, and right now he can't control his body. His main reflex is to pull a knife from his jacket- that could only end badly.
Someone approaches him, and he manages to focus enough to make eye contact. A boy his age, with long purple hair, a frankly stupid outfit, and a very thick cape draped over his shoulders. The smile on his face is purely plastic, but instead of his fight or flight response going off, he feels... reassured?
Why does Wes feel like he's seen him before?
He kneels next to them, holding his hand out to Wes. "I'm Leon, Champion of Galar."
Rui pulls Wes closer, and he can feel her digging her fingers into his back. "Back. Off."
"I- huh?" Leon recoils at the hostility. "What's wrong?"
"I don't know why you decided to insert yourself, you fake bitch. Whatever you want, just fucking say it."
"What are you talking about-?"
"Rui."
Wes slowly pushes her away from him. "Leave it. Let him... Let him speak. We can trust him."
"No! We can't! He's like both Nascour AND Venus! Combined!"
"No. He's like you." Rui narrows her eyes at him. "Just. Trust me, okay."
Rui sighs, but backs away. Leon pulls off his hat, his smile softening from that plastic fake mold to something else. "No, she has a point. You deserve the real me, not the Champion."
It's as if the very air changes. Suddenly, the feeling of reassurance is gone, instead replaced by a well of relief, with an undercurrent of nervousness. Wes realizes that he's feeling Leon's emotions, and they're so strong that they're overpowering his own emotions.
With Rui, he doesn't know what she's feeling. Wes can feel her presence when she's nearby, and the reason he feels anything at all is because he's Shadowed. But based on the faces and reactions of the people around them, Wes isn't the only one feeling Leon's emotions. He's extremely powerful; and unlike Nascour, he has very minimal control over it.
"So. I know your name now is Wes, but I know you as Leo. And I want to help, however I can."
"What-" Rui's expression has gone from hostile to baffled. "How?"
The nerves get stronger. "I, uh. I don't think that's my story to tell right now."
"Well, at least we know you aren't lying."
"Yeah, sorry. I never do this, so I don't know what I'm doing."
They stop talking when Wes finally gets the piece of paper out of his pocket. It's wrinkled from being stuffed in his jacket for four years, but the ink hasn't faded, and the writing is still legible.
'My name is Leon. If you're Leo, then I promise on my title as Champion of Galar, I'm going to rescue you!'
"This note." He holds the crumpled piece of paper up. "That was you, wasn't it?"
Leon's eyes light up, and his smile is brighter than the sun. Wes is nearly overwhelmed by the force of the surprise and sheer joy he feels. "You- You actually got it!"
Before he could react, Leon grabs his hands. "I meant it then, and I mean it now. Let me help you. Please."
Wes's eyes are wide. He's breathless from the emotions he feels- he doesn't think he's ever felt them, at least not in a very long time. That relief, that joy is stronger than any drug he's ever taken.
"You... These feelings, I've never... I think the closest I ever felt to this is when I died."
Rui makes a noise that almost sounds like she's in pain. "Wes..."
"It's not that I want to die. I just don't want to live."
The happiness is tinted with sadness, and something close to understanding? "Well. Let's find you that, then. Let's find you a reason to want to live again."

This is based off yet another discord chat. Heres all you need to know:
This is baed off
And this
This au involves the blackened killing with a wrench.
==
The sound of a set of basketballs comes tumbling down across the camera, as the basketball star manages to deflect the balls. In the distance, the viewers can see a large orange orb.
Music starts to play as the basketball star runs towards the hoop with the ball they chose to take for whatever reason. As the basketball gets closer, the music gets louder. The musician will notice the ball is bouncing to the beat.
It becomes apparent that this is a boulder sized basketball
The walls are closing in, and the basketball player reaches the hoop. They dunk the ball and land on the ground.
Looking up, the music stops as the ball crushes the player against the end of the hall.
As the camera zooms out, monokuma comes into frame, holding a wrench. Behind monokuma is a blackboard with a simple statement - "If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball".
I see your “Varian is killed by being impaled by one of the black rocks” and I raise you “Varian is executed and his ghost (a mute lost puppy who can’t stop crying) clings to Rapunzel”
Saw the Neglected Batsib!Furina!MC, and decided to make the angst worst by throwing in a Execution au.
Sorry.
...Sigh. Anon. Why-
Neglected Batsis!MC who just returned to her world via being executed would be traumatized to hell and back. Adding to this... her old, cold homelife from her first life remained the exact same.
Just as she left it when she became 'Furina'...
At most I see her snapping at one of her adopted siblings- what even were their names? She barely remembers their faces- if anyone tries to touch or hurt her, and that would set off her father as all he sees is her causing trouble, like always.
So she fucking leaves.
She wanted nothing to do with the vigilant lifestyle. She didn't want anything to do with her 'family'. And she certainly didn't want anything to with Genshin Impact anymore.
She wants a fresh start, away from Gotham and Hoyo games... from those that should've loved and protected her...
So, on a bus leaving out of Gotham, MC sits in her seat, staring vacantly out the window as one of her finger scratches lazily at the still raw and bloody bandages wrapped all the way around her neck...
...Sorry of this was sloppy, anon. This was all I could come up with...
