Hi I noticed the french code in one of your pictures and I was wondering if youâre a law student in france? If yes I would be really interested if youâd be willing to share some tips for future law students in order for them to prepare themselves before attending law school such as some recommended books, podcasts, magazines... :) thx in advance xx
You should check this post that I wrote on how to study during your 1st semester of law school and get the best grades possible :Â A guide to be at the top of your class in law school (Pt. 1 : what to do during the semester).
You can also check my answer to this ask about starting law school :)
More specifically, I donât think there is any useful podcast to prepare for law school in France. You could definitely get a book of introduction. There are many books out there, often called âIntroduction au droitâ. Juste make sure to keep it very simple because you will already have tons of work in uni.Â
I think the most difficult thing about the 1st year of law school is that everything is new and very very confusing. Donât try to learn difficult stuff by yourself, try to really understand what you are studying. Find books and blogs and websites that explain the concept in a very simple and clear way. Ask you tutors (chargĂŠs de TD) for advice they will know what are the best options for their subject! Your n°1 priority for your 1st year should be to understand the concepts, youâll get to the very technical stuff next year!
Good luck!!
