you never knew each other beforehand, apparently carlos and evie used to hang out with you a bit, but she never knew you existed
you helped her through the streets given shes target number one, get her to dizzys, then their old hideout
she rambles to you about royal life and ben and not being able to take it anymore
you dont know how she feels at all but you can sort of relate, theres a lot of stress on the isle & pressure with your villain gaurdian/s
you just let her talk as much as she needs to and help her with her graffiti work until ben and evie show up
you hide in the ceiling vents while she talks to them & just kinda listen to get more context / listen in on the drama
in the end she promises she'll choose one of two things, she'll stay on the isle and live with you, or she'll find a way to bring you to auradon
knowing you used to be very close w carlos and evie makes her confident youre not a god awful person & you dont seem to be in kahoots w uma and her crew so she's chill with you
EVIE
you meet in auradon, literally her royalty with a shining crown
well, kinda, not at first tho
she takes interest in Chad before she thankfully realizes she deserves better than that toddler
she then takes a good look at you, someone who she doesnt talk to much, but someone who values her talent and interests and who she actually is, which she likes a lot more
she doesnt immediately persue a relationship, if anything shes sorta scared to
anyways you first properly meet way after her introduction to the school and dorm life
she was trying to make some friends at lunch and was offering consults for custom clothing and she just had to talk to you
you look very clean but have your own little edge that makes you stand out and she LOVES IT
she wants to enhance the edge
and in the end you become very close friends, and she often sneaks out at night to hang out with you & sits w you at lunch when her friends are off doing other things / hustling
CARLOS
you meet on the isle as kids, a real friends to lovers slowburn
mal was picking on him (as the youngest of the class) and you stuck up for him by sticking gum in her hair đ
she nearly turned you into a bird but thankfully jay pulled her away from you
after that carlos stuck to you like glue and honestly, you werent complaining
he'd make lunches for you and help you with all your science projects and help out with basic maths and stuff
in return you gave him a bed, not a thin blanket in a closet, a bed.
eventually he left for auradon and you didnt see him much anymore, but he promised you he'd come back for you, five days, five years, or five decades from now, he didn't care
hes a real ride or die, and youre his ride or die
JAY
you met while he and his friends were traveling (post d3)
you lived rather far from the break between auradon and the isle so you never met before now
he and mal were at the local market and they were interested in purchasing from your stand where you were selling some stuff (handmade items / crochet / jewelry / art, even food whatever you want)
they grab something for each of their friends and hand you a hefty overpay of money and beg you to keep the change
the next few days you see jay at your stand, supporting your business before he leaves
you exchange info and end up supplying him and his friends on their journey and he reserves you a spot at the great auradon fair where you'll definitely make some bank
UMA
you met in auradon post d3
like she was taking over as headmaster era
youre also a younger employee at the school where you teach (whatever subject you want) and it grabs the attention of uma when shes doing a full walkthrough with fairy godmother one morning
she looks into your classroom and sees a motivated, happy teacher her age showing royal and isle kids alike the magic of (subject)
and she is just enamored
she takes a long time before actually approaching you to compliment how passionate you are about your job
so cute
but trust not in a weird dating my boss way more like i love my colleague because we both love our jobs way

holy shit, Evie. she looks like a loser, i need to give her the best head of her life. unironically, i just know those whimpers would be adorable. i need to ride her silly. god, PTN never misses
CW: Oral, fan x idol, Reader topping, Reader giving head (cunnilingus or blowjob up to you), Reader is an idol in this, Reader wears makeup, this is all pure speculation on what Evie could be like, written before Evieâs release
Evie is Phanuelâs fangirl from what I can assume so of course sheâs gotta be a little bit of a loser /j. Imagine if you were an idol just like Phanuel and Evie was conflicted on which girl she should stan. Seeing her dilemma, you decide to steal her away and give Evie backstage passes to your next show, where you proceed to eat her out/suck her off sloppy in your dressing room, to the point her glasses get knocked off her head.
Meet and greet? More like fuck and greet because only Evie could be lucky enough to have the Reader give her an exclusive backstage âperformance.â I can imagine her trembling on your couch as you sit between her knees, making direct eye contact with her while your tongue makes all sorts of lewd movements. Evie doesnât know what to do! All she can do is sit there and moan while gripping her idolâs precious hair, trying hard not to cream on your face because how could she ruin your pretty makeup?
âStill thinking of stanning Phanuel?â You tease.
âI-Iâmâ hnnnâŠâ
Evie is rendered totally speechless when you move your tongue over her slowly, dragging your mouth over her sensitive bits and watching her squirm. Her expressions are so cute, all lewd and flushed while her hair falls out of place from how much sheâs jostling.
I wonder if Phanuel would get jealous if her âNumber 1 Fanâ got stolen away by you, her rival idol. Iâm not sure on her personality yet, but if she got jealous enough, maybe we could see an Idol! Reader x Evie x Phanuel sandwich in the future. That woman deserves to get smothered by her two hottest idols.
How about an evie x reader where evie is trying to get with reader just how she was with chad. Except reader isnât a jerk, just clueless
Her Oblivious Charming
Evie x Charming!Fem!Reader
Summary: Where Evie tries to charm Cinderella's daughter, not knowing you're an oblivious idiot.
Words: 2.3k
WARNINGS:Oblivious!reader, Chad is your brother, Mention of bugs, not proofread and rushed ending.
A/N:Y'ALL THE EVIE REQUESTS MIGHT BE DELAYED 'CAUSE SCHOOL IS COMING UP AND I HAVE TO GET READYY, I'M SO SORRY OMG. ANYWAY, I loved writing this tysm for the request, also ty for prompt writers, they're my saving grace fr.
"Any chance she's in line for a throne?" Evie inquired, her head tilted sideways as she leaned on her knuckles, her gaze fixed dreamily on you. "Anywhere in line?" she continued, her eyes wide with fascination. You, oblivious to the conversation, were grappling with a complex science equation, your pen poised above the paper as you furrowed your brow in concentration.
Doug followed Evie's line of sight with a raised eyebrow. "Y/N, Princess Charming, Cinderella's daughter?" Evie's head snapped up, a brilliant smile lighting her face
"Y/N inherited the charm, but not a lot of there, there, know what I mean...?" Doug trailed off, gesturing vaguely. Their attention returned to you as you winced and rubbed your nose after accidentally tossing your pen in the air and catching it with your face.
"Looks like there-there to me," Evie sighed dreamily, returning her head to her knuckles. "Any chance she's single?" she asked, her voice soft and hopeful as she turned to Doug.
Doug exhaled slowly. "Despite living up to her last name, she's never had a romantic partner," he admitted, continuing to scribble on his paper. "At least, not that I know of," he added as an afterthought.
Perfect. Evie loved a challenge.
She was wrong.
You weren't single because you were guarded,commitment-phobic,
or anything like that.
The truth was far simpler: you were clueless.
No offense, but you were an absolute oblivious idiot.
She let out a frustrated sigh, collapsing onto the side of her bed. The memory of her failed flirtation attempts replayed in her mind like a painful montage.
There was that time in science class, for instance. Partners for a project, where she saw her chance.
[ The science lab was a cacophony of bubbling liquids and crackling test tubes. As you bent over a Bunsen burner, carefully heating a test tube, Evieâs voice cut through the labâs hum.
"There's something on your face," Evie's gaze was fixed on your face, her lips curved into a subtle smirk as she hovered a hand near your cheek.
Your head snapped up, your face flushing with a mix of embarrassment and panic. "What?" you managed to squeak out.
Her lips curved into a sly smile as she started, "Beautifu-" but before she could finish, your brain had already processed the word "something" as a code red for "bug." Terror seized you, you were terrified of bugs.
"Is it a bug?! GET IT OFF, WAIT!" you shrieked, your hands flailing wildly as you tried to dislodge the imaginary insect.
Your desperate attempts to rid your face of the nonexistent bug sent your elbow crashing into a shelf of glassware. Test tubes, flasks, and beakers rained down, shattering on the unforgiving tile floor. A cloud of white smoke rose from a broken container, setting off the fire alarm.
Evie's smirk vanished, replaced by a mixture of amusement and disbelief. She glanced at Doug, who was silently contemplating the ceiling, his palm pressed dramatically against his face.
Thatâs how their science project ended in disaster, earning them both a failing grade and a week of detention. It was also Evieâs unfortunate discovery of your knee deep(IN THE PASSENGER SEATT) fear of bugs.]
Undeterred, she tried again.
[After enduring a week of detention and her relentless, albeit unsuccessful, flirtations, Evie finally asked you outâa walk outside that is. You interpreted it as a purely platonic gesture, of course.
Under the night sky, during a post-detention walk, she took a chance, Evie turned to you with a hopeful glint in her eye. "My hands are a bit cold, " she said, her voice soft. "Would you mind holding them?" Her hands rubbed together dramatically. The classic move, she thought, a smirk tugging at her lips.
To her surprise, you took her hand. Her heart pounded in her chest. This was it, the moment she'd been waiting for.
But instead of the anticipated warmth of your hand, she felt the rough texture of fabric. There you pulled out a pair of mittens out of God knows where and slipped it on her hand
Where the hell did that come from?
"Here, you can take my gloves," you said with a completely innocent smile. You carefully fitted the mittens onto her hand, your touch gentle. It took a full five minutes of awkward fumbling before both mittens were securely in place.
She managed a small âthanksâ as she tried to hide her flushed face. No! You were supposed to be the flustered one, not her!
And so, they continued walking. Plan failed, spectacularly? Well, at least sheâd had her first physical contact with you. Sheâd take it.]
"At this point you'd have to be pretending not to know," Evie sighs a hint of exasperation coloring her voice as she pushed herself up from the bed, her body still bearing the imprint of the soft mattress. Her hand instinctively reached for the hand mirror lying beside her, and she began to fuss with her hair to fix it, the disarray a reflection of her internal frustration.
"Right?" Evie started, her words hanging in the air as her reflection revealed Mal, sprawled out on the bed in a deep slumber. An exasperated roll of her eyes followed, and she brought a finger to her lips in an attempt to fix the smudged lipstick. Her voice was muffled by the gesture as she muttered, "Very helpful." The sudden, forceful intrusion of their dorm room door startled her.
Didn't they lock the door?
The door swung open, revealing you in an oversized jacket, your face etched with panic. Your left hand gripped a key tightly.
Evie, still preoccupied with her hand mirror, glanced up, her eyes widening in surprise.
"Is that a key to...our dorm?" she questioned, her voice laced with confusion.
You nodded frantically, your urgency palpable. "My brotherâ it doesn't matter. You have to help me!" Your words tumbled out in a rush as you darted towards Evie, your foot catching something on the floor, causing you to stumble.
"You know how to sew, right?" You breathed out sharply, landing on Evie's bed with a bounce.
Evie's eyebrows shot up in question. "Yeah, whyâ hey!" Her hands instinctively flew to your chest as you began to unzip your hoodie with surprising urgency. She'd love to get there, but not so soon!
"No, myâ blouse, I broke it!" Your explanation was breathless and rushed. The hoodie finally fell open, revealing a cream-colored blouse with three missing buttons.
Evie swallowed hard, hergaze flickering away from the slight exposure of your cleavage. "R-right, of course," she coughed, trying to regain her composure.
"My brother, Iâthis is his blouse," you stammered, your voice barely audible. "I need to get it fixed now before he sees it and tells Mom! He's looking for me right now! And if Iâ"
Evie's hand gently covered yours, silencing your frantic words. Her touch was surprisingly calming, grounding you amidst the chaos of your thoughts. With a steady exhale, she removed your hands from your face and placed them gently on your lap.
"Alright, calm down," she said, her voice firm yet soothing. "I'm going to get my sewing kit."
Rising from the bed, Evie walked towards a cluttered table overflowing with sketches and fabric scraps. After a brief search, she returned with a small box and sat down on the bed.
"Can you..." Evie began, her voice barely a whisper. Her gaze flickered between the damaged blouse and your expectant face. You tilted your head, curiosity evident in your eyes. She knew what she wanted to say, a simple request to make her task easier. But the image of you without the blouse flashed through her mind, and a blush crept up her cheeks. The distraction would be too much. With a frustrated sigh, she abandoned the thought. "Nevermind," she concluded.
Your impatience was growing by the second. "Please hurry," you pleaded, your voice rising slightly. Your hands fidgeted nervously in your lap.
She nodded in agreement and gently lifted the lid of the sewing kit box. With practiced hands, she rummaged through the assortment of supplies until she found a button that perfectly matched the color of the blouse. Carefully selecting a needle of suitable size and a length of matching thread, she gathered her tools. Leaning in closer, she gently grasped the loose placket of your brothers blouse with her thumb, steadying the fabric as she prepared to sew the button securely in place.
Your breath caught in your throat as you became acutely aware of Evie's proximity. Her warm breath fanned across your collarbone, sending shivers down your spine. Her concentration was intense, her eyebrows drawn together in a furrow, but her eyes held a captivating allure that you hadn't noticed before. Their rich, brown color was like melted chocolate, flecked with golden specks.
Your gaze darted away, desperate for a distraction. The room, once neutral, had transformed into a suffocating chamber.
Your hands, seeking an anchor, found their way to the bed sheet, gripping it tightly as if it were a lifeline. A wave of relief washed over you as Evie momentarily broke the intense proximity, her head turning to retrieve another button.
Tick
Tock
The ticking of the clock, normally a soothing rhythm, now seemed to mock your escalating discomfort. It was as if the universe was conspiring against you.
Evie's voice, soft and laced with genuine concern, pierced through your turmoil. Her honey-brown eyes, filled with empathy, met yours, and in that moment, you felt exposed and vulnerable. A strangled sob threatened to escape your lips, but you managed to suppress it, replacing it with a shaky exhale. Your grip on the bed sheet tightened, a desperate attempt to ground yourself. A feeble excuse formed on your lips, a claim of oppressive heat, which Evie accepted with a sympathetic murmur.
As she moved to the third button, a knot of anticipation formed in your stomach. Her fingers brushed against your skin, sending shivers down your spine. The delicate tendrils of her dark blue hair grazed your chin, carrying the intoxicating scent of mint that seemed to seep into your senses. Unconsciously, you leaned in, drawn to her comforting aroma as if it were a lifeline in a stormy sea.
"There, all do-" Evie announced triumphantly, her face breaking into a smile as she looked up at you. Unprepared for the sight of you leaning in so closely, her eyes widened in surprise. Every thought in her mind evaporated, replaced by a single, overwhelming impulse, as your eyes locked onto hers - a desire, a pull, a magnetic force drawing her closer. Her heart pounded in her ears as she tilted her head, her gaze dropping to your lips. Their lips were mere inches apart and thenâ
BAM!
The abrupt crash of the dorm door against the wall jolted them apart, their hearts pounding in their ears.
"You two idiots! They were about to kiss!" Mal's voice, laced with irritation, cut through the silence. Your heads snapped in her direction to find her sitting nonchalantly on her bed, a pillow clutched in her hands.
A wave of embarrassment washed over you both as you realized she'd witnessed the entire ordeal. Your mind raced, trying to decipher how long she'd been awake and if she'd seen the desperate grip you'd had on the bedsheet earlier.
"Mal â oh, why's she here?" Carlos's voice echoed through the room as he stumbled in, Jay trailing behind him. Jay caught the pillow Mal had tossed in his direction and hurled it back at her in playful retaliation.
Mal caught the pillow with a practiced ease, her eyes rolling as she regarded the newcomers.
"They were about to kiss," she repeated, a smirk playing on her lips.
"We weren't!" you stammered, your voice barely a whisper, but your words were cut short by the sharp, insistent sound of your brother's voice calling your name. Your heart pounded in your chest as his voice grew closer, the panic rising within you. "You guys have to hide me!" you pleaded, your voice rising in desperation.
"Come on." Evie's hand found yours, her grip firm and reassuring as she pulled you towards the closet. Together, you squeezed into the cramped space, your bodies pressed close together, as Mal quickly shut the closet door, muffling the sounds of the approaching chaos.
A low, indistinct voice, muffled by an intervening barrier, reached your ears. It was your brother's voice, inquiring about your presence.
"I heard her voice!" Chad exclaimed, his tone filled with alarm. "Did you kidnap my sister?!"
Mal's response was swift and defensive. "Why would we kidnap your sister?"
Their voices began to fade as Evie's fingers gently turned your head, forcing you to face her.
"Be honest, do you know?" Evie inquired softly, her face partially illuminated by the dim glow seeping from outside the closet. Her voice was as gentle as a whisper.
"Know what?"
A playful chuckle escaped her lips as she placed her hands on your shoulders. "That I like you, Dummy."
Your mind raced as you tried to process her confession. "You do? But I like you too! I thought you liked my brother, because I overheard you and Doug talking about a charming sibling, and I- I thought you were straight becau-" Your stammering attempt at explanation was abruptly halted as Evie's lips met yours.
Surprise washed over you, but you instinctively responded to the warmth of her kiss. Her hands found your waist, pulling you closer as your knees threatened to buckle. The taste of cherry lip balm lingered on your tongue, Your heart pounded in your chest, sending a rush of excitement through your body that felt like a cascade of fireworks exploding within your stomach.
"You're an oblivious idiot." She chuckled, pulling away from the kiss with a playful smile. Her eyes sparkled as she took a moment to admire yours, her hands gently cupping your cheeks. She leaned in slowly, savoring the moment before kissing you again.
character : AltaĂŻr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore, Connor (Ratohnhake:ton) Kenway, Edward Kenway & Desmond Miles,
cw : Mention of blood and wounds, violence, sillyness, you know, a little bit of everything.
+ summary : you're an apprentice under the supervision of your mentor, but they have a platonic love for you. Do they have to deal with you or do you have to deal with them? This is the first of two parts I will be doing on this type of headcanon.
- notes : English is not my native language, so please be patient with me. Also this is my first post about AC, I hope you enjoy these headcanons.
AltaĂŻr Ibn-La'Ahad
â You're fucked up hahaha
â Being his apprentice it's a title everyone would die for, that's means he saw something special in you. Let's pretend he isn't in love with you.
â Now, you're under a lot of pressure, every step you take, every move you make, every look, every breath, everything has to be perfect. Being his student does not mean you're safe from your duties and his expectations. Sorry for that.
â He doesn't hold back in training; he loves to see how every time you fail, you get back up with even more determination.
â He doesn't admit it but he love hear you call him "master". This man only responds to your call even if there are any other asking for his help.
â He call you: Dove or novice, depending on how you did the job.
â On every mission assigned to him, you with him or vice versa. Literally takes you everywhere, by his side.
â The only time he "lets you go" is when he needs information, so gathering it is your fieldwork during missions. But he always find a way to get to you once he's finished his part of the job.
â Even if he doesn't want to or can't, you have individual missions to accomplish, but that doesn't stop him. As your mentor, it's his duty to make sure you'll be okay, right?
â When he sees you applying everything you've learned on missions, whether it's combat techniques, assassination, or even helping him decipher information, even if he says he didn't ask for your help, he can't help but smile proudly.
â "I wasn't wrong about you, little dove".
â When you get injured on missions, he simply sees red. He'll take you to the shelter and tend to your wounds, no matter how minor they may be. He can't deal with the idea that he failed to protect you. Once he makes sure you're safe, he'll take care of the rest.
â You're going to see him come back with blood in his ropes, obviously is not his blood.
â "You should have waited for me, you're still a novice... they could have killed you".
Ezio Auditore
â A blessing or a curse?
â You're his favorite apprentice, his eyes are always on you, yeah... Better you forget about privacy and personal space.
â The good new is that you don't have to deal with him alone, you've Leonardo!! If you want to escape from your mentor, just visit his house, he'll be happy to help you.
â But you can hide from him all the time, he'll find you any time soon, he always does.
â He loves to call you: "Cuore mio" (my heart), if you did a great job, but if you fucked up all the work, you will be called "cucciolo" (puppy).
â As much as he wants to, he knows perfectly well that he cannot accompany you on all your missions and vice versa, which is why you two always promise each other to return safe and sound.
â When you go on missions, he's by your side like a magnet.
â Watching you use everything you learned, make him smile satisfied, cause that mean you will be fine, he cannot afford to lose anyone else.
â "Excellent job, Cuore mio, you always exceed my expectations".
â "This time you screwed up, like the cucciolo you're".
â Lord have mercy on anyone who hurts you, cause that person don't will see the light again. As I said before, he doesn't want to lose anyone else, if he sees you injured, he would go mad. It doesn't care if the wound is minor or not, he wants you safe and sound like right fucking now.
â Be for sure that the blood will be spilled wouldn't come from him.
â "You've to be more careful, I can't protect you all the time, cuore mio"
Connor (Ratonhnake:ton) Kenway
â Bro... How did you manage to gain his trust?
â A lot of training in the forest, he'll teach you about hunting, camouflage, how to survive with limited resources, and most importantly, how to respect nature and connect with it.
â He'll also teach you everything he knows about boats.
â If you ask him to teach you his native language, at first he'll hesitate to do so, but if you use it as a code between yourselves, it is the perfect excuse to teach you something about his people and the place he come from.
â When he talks to Achilles about you, he calls you "the fawn". Never calls you like that when you're with him.
â "So you're the baby deer Connor adopted as his student".
â "I'm what?"
â "Don't listen to him..."
â Stay. Away. From. His. Father. This was the first rule he gave to you. Charles Lee already killed his mother. You're very important to him; the last thing he wants is to lose you to a templar like his father.
â When you go on missions, he doesn't interfere in your tasks, just like birds, he wants you to learn to fly by your own. Only interferes when he sees that you're in serious danger.
â You were gathering information when you were ambushed by templars and ended up hurt. Thanks to the lessons of your mentor, you were able to escape alive.
â While your wounds are being treated, all he needs to know is what those templars looked like. He'll finish the mission for you, and with a couple of lives too.
â "You're not ready to go on missions alone yet; the world is still too dangerous for you...".
Edward Kenway
â I'm so sorry for you.
â I'm not going to say he'll teach you about drinks, fights clubs and how to charm someone.
â He's knows more than you can imagine. Your training varies between the islands and the Jackdaw.
â You've to learn everything about the damn ship, cause you'll live in there all the time. Of course he helps you if you need it, but he prefers that you learn to communicate with the ship on your own.
â You must learn each island like the back of your hand. And he'll make sure you know how to get back to the port.
â So... Yeah, you'll have to memorize all the maps.
â But the most important thing he will teach you is to be loyal to your convictions and hold on to your dreams.
â The rest of the crew nicknamed you âthe compass.â Because ever since Captain Edward took you under his wing, they noticed that his mood improved, and also because, no matter how or when, he always manages to find you.
â He calls you: "Gold coin". Why? Because you are worth as much as or more than a Spanish doubloon. Too much sugar captain.
â But when you don't finish your duties, or you fucked up, he calls you "Landlubber", sorry not sorry.
â No one would dare harm the Jackdaw captain's student, but at the same time, you are a high-value target for capturing the assassin pirate.
â And those who try to kidnap you, may the Lord have mercy on their souls, because the captain will have no problem reducing every island and ship to ashes in order to find you.
â "You understand now why I call you my golden coin?"
Desmond Miles
â More than a mentor, he would be an apprentice like you. You learn from each other, even though he knows a little more thanks to the memories of his ancestors.
â You train together.
â In missions, you compete to see who reaches the target first.
â He just call you by your name.
â Please, bother Shaun with him.
â Compliments here and there.
â "Of course you can't, you're a novice"
â "You're a novice too. Just because you've unlocked skills through your ancestors' memories doesn't make you a master!"
â Speaking of memories, if you are his âapprentice,â it's because you didn't see him as crazy for the bleeding effect.
â He teases you because you worry every time he has to enter the animus, but deep down he really appreciates that you pay attention to him during the immersion and help him deal with the bleeding hallucinations.
â The first time you came back injured from a mission, it was a reality check for him. So from that moment on, it's normal that on missions, he's the one who volunteers to face any danger first.
â This man is capable of sacrifice himself for your safety (just remember the games). He'll not hesitate to rush to your rescue, help you if you are injured, or kill the person responsible for such misfortune.
â "You'll drive crazy (Y/N)... I fucking swear to you, If you go alone again, I'll kill you with my own hands"
I'm just going back to my hyperfixations and it feels so good.
Remember that you can send me requests, questions, etc. I will be happy to respond.

summary: carlos de vil tries to deal with a crush and has his first interaction since first seeing her. (alternate title: jay is an amazing wingman.)
word count: roughly 900 words
A red ball bounced off the wall of Carlosâ and Jayâs shared dorm. Dude chased after it, tongue sticking out as he panted. When Carlos received the ball back, itâd been completely soaked in dog slobber, earning a disgusted groan from him.
âUgh, Dude.â
âWhat? I donât have hands for paws!â The Brussels Griffon retorted.
Carlos rolled his eyes and turned over to Jay, whoâd recently set up a little punching bag for training. Itâs all he ever came to the room to do besides sleeping.
âWhat am I gonna do, man? Do you think she even likes me?â Carlos had recently taken a sudden interest in a girl thatâd passed by him in the Great Hall⊠flowing dark hair, elegant clothes (she actually managed to make the uniform look good), and her face. God, her face. Carlos could stare at her for days. Sheâs seriously all heâd been thinking about.
âChillax, she probably doesnât even know your name.â Jay realized what heâd said and stopped hitting the punching bag for a second to look at his woeful friend, âOr⊠she does! And sheâs curious about you too!â He tried to keep his spirits high and uplifting, surprising behavior for the guy if Carlos was being honest.
âIâm doomed.â
âJust talk to her, you coward!â Dude yipped, beady black eyes piercing into Carlosâ own. âYou need to get to know her name first before you start thinking way ahead, you know?!â
Jay cut in, âWait, you donât even know her name?!â He cackled, running his both hands through his hair in amusement.
âShut up! Oh my, God!â Carlos threw a pillow towards Jay, hiding his face behind his hands.
âItâs pathetic. Really!â Dude barked out, making biscuits on the pillow Carlos threw at Jay.
Carlos turned to his side, facing the wall. He hugged himself tightly, crossing his arms over his chest for comfort. He brought his knees down, letting his legs hang from the foot of the bed.
It didnât take a while for Jay to finally take pity on him. He sat beside Carlos on his bed, muscular arms resting behind his back. âSounds to me you really⊠like her.â If it wasnât any more obvious. Jay snickered to himself. âWhat if I lend you a hand?â
At that, Carlos immediately shot up. âWhat?! Whatâre you going to do?! Talk to her?!â
âNo, you idiot! Youâre talking to her.â Jay said with a smug smile. Carlos wasnât too fond of the idea, what if he messed up? What if the wrong words slipped out? Everything and anything could go wrong!
âNo. No! I canât! Sheâll hate me!â
âCarlos.â Jay pulled Carlos to face him, hands gripping his shoulders, his eyes dug deep into Carlosâ own, staring back intensely at two circles of brown. âMan. The hell. Up.â
The other let out an exasperated groan, pulling away from Jayâs grip to let himself fall back flat on the bed.
It shouldnât have been that hard, right? Jay had already given Carlos a set of questions he can start off with, scribbled messily on the palm of his hand. So the conversation can go smoothly from there.
He turned to look at Jay who hid in a potted plant not too far behind, an earpiece tucked under his long hair. Carlos also wore an earpiece, a lot more visible than Jayâs but it shouldnât matter.
Jay gave Carlos an assuring thumbs up signal as he ducked down in the leaves.
Carlos took a deep breath, raising a fist to knock against a dorm room, when suddenly it swung open violently, revealing you. The De Vil boy had nothing to say, words getting stuck in his throat.
You both continued to stare at each other before you finally broke the awkward silence. âUh, can I⊠help you?â You asked tentatively, fixing your hair at the sight of a visitor.
âAh- Y-Yes! UhhâŠâ Carlos swallowed a large lump in his throat, eyes darting back and forth towards a large potted plant and the girl that stood before him. Her. âIâve⊠Iâm sure Iâve seen you around before, I never c-caught your name though.â He finally spoke, peaking not-so-discretely at his palm.
You gave him your name uncertainly, âAnd you areâŠâ
âCââ
You cut him off abruptly with a snap of your fingers, âCarlos De Vil! Yeah, Iâve heard of you.â
Carlos winced, âWhat have you heard about me exactly?â
âOh, uhâŠâ You hesitated in answering, fidgeting with your fingers, âNot much. You play Tourney right? Youâre on the team?â Carlos lit up at the mention of the sport.
âYeah, yeah! I play! Do- Do you?â
âUm, they donât allow girls on the team.â You smiled sheepishly and god, did Carlos almost faint on the spot.
âRightâŠâ
âIs that it?â
Carlos paused, dusting his clothes off and straightening up. âYeah- Thatâs- Thatâs all.â
You tilted your head to the side in curiosity, as if waiting for Carlos to say more, but you shrugged and closed the door behind you, excusing yourself. âIt was nice talking to you. Bye.â
You shot him a grin, and you could swear his cheeks started turning pink. A giggle only left your lips as you walked past the boy and a mysterious potted plant that suspiciously had a familiar beanie thrown over it. But you paid no mind and strolled away. Cute.
Mal, Evie, and Y/N stood at the edge of the forest surrounding Auradon Prep, the trees casting long shadows in the late afternoon sun. The trio had formed an inseparable bond since their arrival at the prestigious school, brought together by their shared pasts and a mutual understanding of one anotherâs struggles.
Mal, daughter of Maleficent, was the unspoken leader of their group. With her purple hair and fierce attitude, she commanded attention wherever she went. Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen, was her perfect counterpartâgraceful, intelligent, and with a sense of style that was unmatched. And then there was Y/N, the daughter of Oogie Boogie, whose masculine presence and confident demeanor completed their dynamic. Her short-cropped hair and rugged attire set her apart, yet her soft-spoken nature revealed a depth of character that only her closest friends and lovers understood.
Their relationship was unconventional, but it worked for them. They found solace and strength in each other, creating a safe space where they could truly be themselves. As the evening approached, they had decided to escape the pressures of Auradon Prep for a few hours, retreating to their secret hideout in the woods.
"Finally, some peace and quiet," Mal sighed, sinking onto a fallen log and stretching out her legs. "Sometimes this place is just too much."
Evie sat down beside her, nodding in agreement. "I know what you mean. Itâs like they expect us to be perfect all the time. Itâs exhausting."
Y/N, standing nearby with her hands in her pockets, looked out at the dense forest. "Yeah, but at least we have each other," she said, her voice steady and reassuring. "No matter what happens, we face it together."
Mal smiled, reaching out to take Y/Nâs hand and pulling her down to sit with them. "You always know what to say, Y/N."
Y/N grinned, a rare but genuine expression that lit up her face. "Itâs because Iâve got the two of you. You make it easy."
They sat in comfortable silence for a while, simply enjoying each otherâs company and the tranquility of their surroundings. The forest had become their sanctuary, a place where they could shed the expectations of Auradon and simply be themselves.
Eventually, Evie broke the silence, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "So, whoâs up for a little adventure? We could explore deeper into the forest. Iâve heard thereâs a hidden waterfall somewhere around here."
Malâs eyes lit up with excitement. "Iâm in. What about you, Y/N?"
Y/N shrugged, a playful smirk tugging at her lips. "Sure, why not? Itâs not like we have anywhere else to be."
With that, the three of them set off into the forest, laughing and joking as they went. The deeper they ventured, the denser the trees became, their leaves forming a thick canopy overhead. Sunlight filtered through in patches, casting dappled patterns on the forest floor.
As they walked, Y/N couldnât help but feel a sense of contentment wash over her. Despite the challenges they faced at Auradon Prep, moments like this made it all worth it. She glanced over at Mal and Evie, their faces lit up with joy and excitement, and felt a surge of affection for them both.
After about an hour of hiking, they finally reached the waterfall. It was more breathtaking than they had imagined, a cascade of water tumbling down into a crystal-clear pool below. The sound of the rushing water filled the air, creating a soothing symphony that drowned out the rest of the world.
"This is amazing," Evie breathed, her eyes wide with wonder.
Mal nodded in agreement, her usual tough exterior softened by the beauty of the scene before them. "Yeah, it really is."
Y/N smiled, feeling a sense of pride that they had found this hidden gem together. "Come on, letâs go check it out."
They made their way down to the edge of the pool, where the water was cool and refreshing. Mal kicked off her boots and dipped her toes in, sighing in contentment. Evie followed suit, her laughter ringing out as she splashed water at Y/N.
Y/N chuckled, quickly shedding her own boots and rolling up her pants before stepping into the water. It was cold, but invigorating, and she couldnât help but laugh as Mal and Evie continued to splash each other.
For a while, they played in the water, their laughter echoing off the surrounding rocks. It was moments like this that reminded them of the simple joys in life, and how fortunate they were to have found each other.
Eventually, they settled down on a large rock near the edge of the pool, letting the sun warm their skin as they dried off. Mal leaned back against Y/N, her head resting on her shoulder, while Evie nestled against Y/Nâs other side.
"This is perfect," Evie murmured, her eyes half-closed in contentment.
"Yeah, it is," Y/N agreed, wrapping her arms around both girls. "I wouldnât trade this for anything."
Mal smiled, her eyes shining with affection. "Neither would I. Weâre stronger together, and nothing can change that."
They sat there for a long time, basking in the warmth of the sun and the comfort of each otherâs presence. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the forest, they knew it was time to head back to Auradon Prep. But they did so with lighter hearts, knowing they had each other to lean on.
As they made their way back through the forest, hand in hand, they felt a renewed sense of purpose. No matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, united by their love and their unbreakable bond.
Back at Auradon Prep, the atmosphere was as bustling as ever. Students were scattered across the campus, engaged in various activities and socializing. The trio returned with a sense of tranquility, the serenity of the forest still lingering in their hearts.
As they approached their dorm, they were greeted by Carlos and Jay, who were lounging on the steps. "Hey, whereâve you guys been?" Carlos asked, his curiosity piqued.
"Just out exploring," Mal replied with a shrug. "Needed a break from all the craziness here."
Jay grinned, nudging Carlos. "Sounds like you guys had fun. Wish we couldâve joined you."
"Maybe next time," Y/N said with a smile. "But right now, weâre all about relaxing and recharging."
They headed inside, retreating to their shared common room. Mal flopped onto the couch, stretching out with a satisfied sigh. Evie settled beside her, pulling out a sketchbook and pencil to capture the memory of the waterfall. Y/N stood by the window, looking out at the campus with a thoughtful expression.
"Itâs weird, isnât it?" Y/N mused aloud. "How different our lives are now compared to back on the Isle."
Mal nodded, her gaze distant. "Yeah, but I wouldnât change it. Weâve come so far, and weâre doing things our parents never dreamed of."
Evie smiled, glancing up from her sketch. "And weâre making a difference. Weâre showing everyone that weâre more than our parentsâ legacies."
Y/N turned to face them, her expression resolute. "Weâre writing our own stories. And weâre doing it together."
Their words hung in the air, a testament to their journey and the bond that had formed between them. They had faced countless challenges, but they had also discovered their own strength and resilience. And with each other by their sides, they knew they could overcome anything.
As the evening wore on, they settled into a comfortable routine. Mal and Evie worked on their respective projects, while Y/N read a book she had borrowed from the library. The tranquility of their hideout in the forest had followed them back to Auradon, creating a bubble of peace amidst the chaos of school life.
Eventually, they all decided to call it a night. Mal and Evie headed to their shared room, while Y/N lingered for a moment, looking out at the night sky. The stars were bright, twinkling like diamonds against the velvet backdrop.
Y/N smiled to herself, feeling a sense of gratitude for the life they had built together. It wasnât always easy, but it was worth it. With Mal and Evie by her side, she knew she could face anything the world threw at her.
With that thought, she turned and headed to her own room, ready to face whatever challenges tomorrow would bring. And as she drifted off to sleep, her dreams were filled with visions of the waterfall, the laughter of her friends, and the unbreakable bond that held them together.

Mal was currently being punished like a child in her shared bedroom with Evie, scolded like a child. She rolled her eyes slightly, pushing an ombre blonde to purple lock of hair behind her ear as she sat on the bed, hands clasped together as she listened to Evie tell her about what she did wrong.Â
Evie was pacing, sighing heavily, holding Mals spellbook in her hands, close to her chest. âThis,â The blue haired princess spoke, holding the book tighter, âis confiscated until further notice.â She told her best friend, pinching the bridge of her nose with her fingers.Â
Mal rolled her eyes, pushing herself off the bed, hands on her hips. âEvie, Iâm sorry, okay?â She mumbled out, âItâs just a lot of pressure and I justâŠâ Mal trailed off, looking out the window to the groups of people walking by, laughing. They were enjoying their day, they knew what they were doing, who they wereâŠMal didnât know any of that. She looked back to Evie who gazed upon her with concern. Mal sucked in a breath, âI just donât know how to do the princess thing.â She continued on, slightly hugging herself.Â
Evie frowned at her and walked over to her, placing the spell book down, placing her hands on Mals shoulders. âThis is all still pretty new to you, to all of us.â Evie spoke out, rubbing Mal's arms gently. âYouâll get the hang of it.â She continued, pulling Mal in for a tight hug, the soon to be princess, queen, hugged her back softly. Her gaze was elsewhere, but Evie couldnât see it.
âYouâre better at being a princess here.â
Evie pulled back with a sad smile, âAnd youâll be a better queen than anyone.â She told Mal, fingers combing through her friends' curls. Mal tilted her head with a smile, biting the inside of her cheek and scrunching her nose. âIâll try.â She told Evie who nodded, taking the spellbook with her to the door, âJust take a minute to breathe, okay?â Evie explained to Mal who nodded, sitting back on her bed.
Before EVie left Mal called her name, causing her to look back into the room, âYeah?â Evie asked, tilting her head, holding the book securely. Mal took a deep breath, looking at her hands, âDo you ever miss the Isle?â She asked, eyes following up to see Evie shaking her head.
âNot really.â
Mal was shocked at the answer really, she picked at her nails. âNothing at all? The wildness of it, the rule breaking?â She asked, her thoughts screaming, 'The feeling of being free?â
Evie leaned on the doorway, âNo, Mal.â She told her honestly, shrugging, not even thinking about it. âI donât miss anything about the Isle.â
Evie left Mal alone with her thoughts, explaining to their friends that the press and expectations are a lot for Mal. They understood how it was to go from being on the Isle of the Lost to going to Auradon Prep randomly one day. They didnât understand how it was to be the daughter of Maleficent and the stress of becoming the new queen of Auradon. All they could do was sit by and be supportive, helping out and showing Mal they cared about her.
Unfortunately being caring and supportive for Mal didnât work and the next thing they knew, she was gone. Ben had no idea where she was and he was pacing around the office of the castle, silently cursing himself for not noticing how she was feeling. When Evie walked in, he was hoping for good news but with the look on the princessâs face it was clear that wasnât the case.
Evie was frowning, âShe went back to the Isle.â Those words sent Ben into a spiral. He thought about all the dress fittings, the paparazzi, the students, his parents, the world staring at her, saying how she was VK and was going to be with him. He thought about how he never noticed how pressured she was due to such a big change, and he wanted to slap himself. How do you not notice when someone you love is feeling overwhelmed? With that, he decided he was going after her, to show her he loved her, to show her he was there for her.Â
Evie immediately knew that was a terrible idea because he had no idea what the state of the Isle was, and he was a prince. She knew if he went there alone, everyone would pick pocket him, manipulate his ideas, or somehow find a way to never return him to Auradon.
She also knew she couldnât be the only one to go with him, so she went to the two people who knew Mal best, other than her. The two people who also knew the Isle best, just like her and Mal. Their friends Carlos and Jay, the two who were with them when they were first chosen to go to Auradon Prep.
She walked into the boys room, explaining the situation to the two who were sitting, staring at her blankly.
Carlos blinked, âYouâre telling me that Mal isâŠâ He paused, leaning forward, âmissing in action?â He asked and Evie nodded, âYeah, she went back to the Isle and I donât want Ben going by himself.â She explained, sitting in the arm chair across from them. Jay stood up, now leaning on the bedpost, face twisting as he began to understand, âBecause heâs never seen the Isle personally.â He thought aloud to which Evie confirmed with a head nod.
The three continued to discuss the idea and Evie finally asked, âSo, youâll come?â and the boys looked at each other with furrowed brows, back to their best friend. âObviously.â They spoke simultaneously, blinking because they didnât expect her to ask, it was just assumed they would be tagging along regardless.Â
The plan was almost perfect, but good enough for them. They would go to the Isle, hide the limo, find Mal, convince her to go back, and return to their lives.Â
Unfortunately, it wasnât that simple. They had to show Ben what it was like to be on the Isle, which was something in itself. Showing him the darkest parts of themselves that they never wished to resurface, was hard, no matter how much Ben thought he knew. Children were robbing the people of the Isle, people lived in dirt and grime, there was no sort of prestige there. There was only survival, there was no best version of yourself. On the Isle, the only way to grow was to be the worst version of yourself and make people fear you.
Evie walked with the group, making Ben stand in the middle of the group so that those from the island could at least cover him a bit. As they walked, Evie saw a glimpse of someone familiar. Everyone on the island was slightly familiar, you know almost everyone on the island if you grew up there, but this person she just couldnât ignore for some reason. She told Jay to stand in front of Ben while she checked something out, and she would meet them at the hideout. He didnât question it and continued on with Ben and Carlos, walking out of sight.
The blue haired princess maneuvered through trash and people, looking around for that person until her eyes set on you moving some boxes around. She walked closer to you, the sound of the ground crunching made her flinch due to the volume, but when the person looked over, she relaxed a bit.Â
That person was you, you looked at her and a smile brought its way to your face. You put down the boxes, âEvie?â You asked, taking off your gloves, walking over to her. She nodded quickly, mirroring your smile, meeting you halfway to engulf you into a hug.Â
You returned the hug, face deep in the crook of her neck, arms around her waist, âItâs been a lifetime.â You mumbled into her shoulder, holding her even tighter.
Evie felt warmth on her face as your voice vibrated through her body, she hugged you sweetly, not really wanting to let go. The two of you actually stayed in that position for quite a bit. The only reason the two of you pulled apart was because she had a flash of a memory from not even two days ago. The memory of when Mal asked her if she missed anything from the Isle and she said she didnât miss anything without missing a beat. Evie pulled apart from you, looking into your eyes, and she felt regret because how could she forget you?
You stood with a smile, looking around the area, your eyes shining. Your hands were on Evies waist, hers were on your shoulders, rubbing your arms. âI knew I saw Mal earlier!â You spoke, the comment snapping Evie out of her thoughts. âAre Carlos and Jay with you?â You asked, looking around, fingers gently rubbing along Evies sides, causing her to shiver.Â
She inhaled sharply, nodding a bit, âYeah, we need to get Mal back to Auradon, she kind of ran out on us.â She explained briefly, a small summary of the events. Your fingers loosened on her waist, your brows furrowing, âIâm sorry?â You asked, smile faltering. Evie didnât notice really, she played with your sleeves a bit, nodding with an airy laugh, âThereâs a whole thing to that, but, whereâd you see her?â She asked, remembering how you said you had seen her earlier.Â
You had a frown on your face, brows knitted together, âNo.â You spoke in a harsh mumble, the tone change caused Evie to finally look at you properly, without thinking about anything else. âI mean, youâre leaving?âÂ
Evie tilted her head and nodded as if it were obvious, âWell, we have to go back home.â She spoke without thinking.
âThis is your home.â
âThatâs not what I meant to say-â
You dropped your hands from her waist, eyes narrowing in shock, âYes it is.â You spoke lowly, licking your lips a bit. Evie bit the inside of her cheek, trying to find a way to explain herself, âI have to-â You cut her off.
âNo, you donât, you want to.â You told her, looking her up and down. âThereâs a difference.â You spoke in a blunt manner, eyes now half lidded, unimpressed, disappointed, unsurprised.
Evie blew air through her cheeks as she rubbed your arms, âCome on, thatâs not fair.â She tried to smile but truthfully, she was a little nervous.
You scowled at Evie, your eyes narrowed and you stepped back out of her gentle grasp on your shoulders. âYou think just because you go to Auradon Prep, now that youâve left the IsleâŠâ You paused, breathing out an airy laugh, âYou think everyone is just what? Below you?â You asked, head tilting. Evie dropped her hand, taking a step back at your words, biting the inside of her cheek. She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath, âThatâs not what I meant by it.â She spoke slowly, eyes opening to reveal her saddened dark brown eyes.
You shook your head, pointing at her accusingly, âYou probably didnât even give us a second thought when you walked onto that campus, did you?â You asked her, arm dropping, falling into a crossed motion.Â
Evie couldnât say anything, because to be fair, you were right. She was so excited to go to Auradon Prep, she didnât even think about the Isle and the people when Mal asked or before.
You shook your head, a smile of disbelief etched onto your face, âEvie, you need a reality check.â You snarled, words spitting into Evie who flinched at your words in confusion. You stepped towards her a bit, body leaning forward, âYou werenât picked because of your fashion or your personality, you were picked because of dumb luck.â You reminded her of what everyone on the Isle knew, the truth all of the VKs on their dark and grim island knew, the truth no one would ever forget. No kid of a villain is chosen for their potential, because they had none.
When Evie didnât respond, you simply continued on. You saw how her eyes widened, how her lips parted, she clearly wanted to think differently but deep inside, she knew it. You continued on, words cutting deeper and deeper than ever before, you knew it was wrong to hurt her, but she was leaving you. People donât leave and get to be happy, itâs not fair to the kids who are stuck on that stupid island.Â
You glared, sucking your teeth at Eviesâ still figure, like she was scared to move. âPrince Ben chose the daughter of the Evil Queen, because he thought she was one of the worst villains here.â You spoke, facial expression one of anger, filled with emotion. âHe wanted to prove a point, he didnât pick you because you were worth it, he picked you because he felt sorry for you.â You spat, face contorting in betrayal.
The blue haired girl was silent, still, in shock. Her heart was pounding, her chest was aching, she felt dizzy, but she just couldnât move. She wished you would stop talking, but of course you had to keep going.Â
âYouâre not a hero and you will always be a VK from the Isle.â You told her, but your words were muffled to her. She looked at you, she looked through you as you spoke and her voice picked up volume, but it was only slight. Evie trembled as she spoke to you, âI wasnât trying to erase that.â She whispered out, brown eyes glossing over with tears. You dropped your arms at her response, staring at her blankly, âYouâre clearly trying to erase the rest of us.â You told her, frowning. âYouâre trying to erase me.â You mumbled out the last part of the sentence. The anger that was in you seemed to disappear right in front of the princess, it seemed to fade into a great sadness you had been holding onto for almost a year since Evie had left.
Evies nostrils flared, she pushed her hairs off her shoulder, âNo Iâm not.â She said through gritted teeth.
âI bet youâve found your true love since I wasnât worth it, hm?â You asked, hands on your hips, âSince clearly I wasnât enough to even think about.â You continued on.Â
Both of you were angry, but at your comment Evie just sighed, frowning. Her beautiful brown eyes were teary, she sniffled, moving her blue hair out of her face. You expected her to prove you wrong, to tell you that she loved you, to hold you.Â
âI canât love you how you want me to.â She told you, the words cracking your heart as they echoed in your mind. Her voice was quivering as she said it, she walked forward to you, you didnât move. Your eyes were watering, you kept your lips tight in a frown so you couldnât break out into sobs. Evie knew better, she held her hands out, gently holding onto your face, looking into your eyes.
It was then that your lips parted and you cried, tears pouring, hiccups escaping, your cheeks were wet, your face warm from the feeling of crying. Evie nodded, stroking your cheek, her own tears streaming down her own face, she bit her lips as she looked at you. âThey need me there.â She whispered to you, cupping your face with her hands as you cried.
You tried to pull back, you tried to walk away, but her gaze kept you right in front of her. You shook your head, her hands moving with your head, her palms never leaving the warmth of your cheeks. Her thumb gently wiped your tears away, but more fell. Your vision was blurry when you tried to make eye contact with her, âAnd I need you here, is that not enough?â Your voice cracked as you spoke, lip shaking, arms crossing so she wouldnât see your hands trembling. âAm I not enough?â You asked, blinking rapidly, trying to keep yourself together.
Evie couldnât say anything when she heard footsteps coming near the two of you. She jumped back, putting space between the two of you and you wiped your tears, keeping your mouth closed. You crossed your arms, looking down, kicking to the ground so whoever came would just pass through.Â
You looked up and saw familiar white hair, a freckled boy who looked to Evie. âEvie, we have a problem, we have to go.â He spoke seriously. He noticed that Evie was looking across from her so he turned in the direction and saw you, his eyes widened with a shine to them. âHey!â He grinned, walking to you, hugging you softly even though he was in a rush. You nodded to him, smiling a bit and returning the gesture, âHey Carlos.â You whispered out, wiping your tears discreetly. âI canât chat, I was just leaving, but we should catch up.â You told him, nodding when the two of you pulled apart and he agreed. He scrunched his nose, patting you on the back, âIâll know where to find you.â He smiled, shooting you finger guns as you left, walking away with a sniffle.
Carlos walked back over to Evie, hands on his hips, âI havenât seen them in what, like a-'' He began but Evie cut him off, âA year.â She spoke bluntly, staring at the direction you walked off to. Carlos noticed the difference in her mood from before, but before he could ask about it she shook her head to bring herself back to reality., âWhatâs going on?â She asked him, wondering what was so urgent.
Her friend frowned at her but understood, âWe found Mal, but Ben said she wasnât coming back.â He explained to which Evie nodded slowly, suspecting there was more to this. Carlos sighed out a bit panicked, âWe canât find Ben.â He spoke quickly and Evie's eyes widened.Â
Now wasnât the moment for heart to hearts, now was the moment to find their friend and get out of there.Â
