HELP THEM GET A NEW ONE

The details: One of my best friends in the entire world, @takenbynumbers, has been having a rough time lately. Their birthday is on the 10th, but the last couple months have been complete hell—and then today someone stole their ebike from where it was locked up right outside their place of work, in the lot, in front of the doors, in broad fucking daylight.

Nobody saw anything. All that was left was their extremely hefty lock, which was sliced to nothing, and their helmet.

They need this bike to get around, first and foremost, but also it's an integral tool in retaining their literal physical mobility, as it's a low-impact exercise that helps stave off the deterioration of their hips due to a hereditary condition. A police report has been filed, but that's not likely to go anywhere—these things are never recovered.

If you're going "wait a second, didn't one of your friends have an ebike stolen a couple years ago?" you are correct! This is the same friend! Last time someone broke into the locked secure storage cage at the apartment complex where lived and stole it in the middle of the night—they got a lock to make sure that couldn't happen again, and THIS TIME SOME JACKASS USED BOLT CUTTERS!

the laundromat is more expensive, but it's necessary now since we are basically out of clean clothes entirely. there's a lot to get done, plus having to take a cab there and back, so we need a bit of help to make sure we're not financially fucked after this. I'm setting the goal at $40 which may seem like a lot but will likely only barely cover the costs. every tiny bit helps, including sharing this post!

It’s been awhile since my last update. But I was unsure we had a way for the donations to reach Samah and hadn’t been in contact for awhile. But now she is near the Gaza shore and is required to pay 300 dollars every month to retain her tent space near the sea. It’s been a rough month for a lot of us, but the people of Palestine still need our help and consideration. I am hoping that in that spirit you will help Samah get closer to reaching her goal. For her and her son Amman to continue to survive they will need your support.

It is flu season as well, so medication, shelter, food, and clothing are especially crucial at this time. Especially when most medical resources and hospitals are scarce in Gaza.

Samah and Ammar hope that you all know how much you are appreciated in your efforts. They are very sad they even have to ask for your help but they hope you know exactly how significant your continued support has been to them. It has allowed Ammar to see doctors for his heart condition, it has helped them secure a tent and space for the tent. Food, milk, water, and other necessities could not have been afforded without or help. And that is why we must continue to be there for each other.

This isn’t easy to write. I’ve always tried to make ends meet on my own, but things have gotten harder than I ever imagined.

I’m working hard—full time at minimum wage—but the numbers just don’t add up anymore. Rent keeps climbing, bills keep piling up, and the cost of groceries seems to go up every week. I’ve cut back on everything I can, but there’s nothing left to trim. Some days I have to decide between paying a bill or putting food on the table.

I just want to make sure there’s a roof over my head and enough to eat until I can get back on my feet. Any help you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this, or just sending kind words—means the world to me.

I am no contact with my entire family because of all the years of abuse and neglect I had to suffer through while trying to enjoy my childhood and look forward to a future.

Growing up I always knew I didn’t feel right in my body. I always knew I didn’t like when people looked at me or made assumptions based on my appearance. It all just felt very wrong and uncomfortable. After so many years of being uncomfortable, I discovered I was Agender and things started to finally make sense.

I am now asking for help. I am desperately in need of Top Surgery. I cannot survive much longer in this body and I need to be rid of the one thing that bothers me the most. My chest makes me feel disgusting and sad and I can’t stand to look at myself in the mirror.
