#everything has changed

Oh my gosh, yes

Let me tell you that I realized in the middle of the series that I calculated Goh's age wrong. I thought that at the end of You're the loss of my life he turned seventeen, but he turned sixteen so I had to go through most of my fics, revisit them and fix the age if it was mentioned.

I'm holding my breath each time I mention someone's age or how many time has passed since some events because I'm terrified I calculated it wrong, hahah 😂

In times like this, I always try to remember that I'm only human and with that long on-going series, it's easy to get confused at some point. That's why, now I have a note on my phone full of dates and ages calculated and written so it can be easier for me to count the years and stuff like that 😂

There is one person that constantly asks me to write sm*t about Ash and Goh for my series, I'm not gonna say who, but if they're reading it, I hope a tiny light bulb will appear above their head, lighting up and thinking hey, it's probably about me.

First, they just sent me an ask, I just ignored it, then when I didn't answered, they replied to one of my posts here, and today they replied as a guest to one of my readers' comment asking me for the same thing.

If someone isn't aware I am asexual, and my asexuality may come of different to some people because I don't have any problems of reading that kind of fics, or listening to songs about that topic, but I always was saying to myself that I'm not gonna write that kind of fic myself as it'd be making me hella uncomfortable.

I tried a few months ago to have a different approach to that as I experimented with my writing and I wrote two Shigeou fics that weren't rated E, but had sex mentioned, maybe even a little described but that's how I wanted the fics to write. I wanted to included that because that's how I decided willingly. I'm still proud of these two fics and of myself of going out my comfort zone and experiment with my content. But that's far I could go with it.

There is a big difference between the 2-fics Shigegou series and between my main Satogou series. Firstly, that's how Goh and Gary met, and that's how their relationship was build (absolutely nothing wrong to build a relationship on a hook-up), and that's how I wanted them to meet. And Everything Has Changed is a series that is really important to me on so many levels, I don't think it requires me writing E rated fic for it, I don't think it's necessary for the series. The series explores different topics, it's just not what the series is about. Shigeou fics were about it and that's the biggest difference between them. Plus...I just don't want to write that kind of a fic. Like...I just don't want to. I don't need to, and putting a pressure on me won't work, sweetheart.

It also makes me feel sick that some people can't enjoy a fic without looking for E rated bits included in it. Well, you won't find it in Everything Has Changed series or on any separate fics on my AO3 profile because that's not what I want to write (or explore anymore).

Thirsty for it? Go search the Ash/Goh tag, there is hundred of that type of fics, I swear, hundred, and you don't need it from me when there are other writers that like to write that kind of content.
