I'm really enjoying working with this yummy grey Alpaca yarn. And I'd forgotten how much fun moss stitch is when you are using a thicker yarn. As I'm feeling very autumnal I couldn't resist digging through my stash to find this appropriately russet coloured yarn from Blacker Yarns. I was thinking of pairing it with some grey (surprise) and maybe making a lap blanket. Decisions... Yes of course. I always make copies notes on a pattern in knitting. That way when I leave it under the bed for 6 months I know exactly where to start from when I pick it up again. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I wish! Someday, maybe I'll learn to do this. But for now I've just lost an hour of my life sorting it out, thinking I knew where I was, then ripping back to start again where I actually was. Sigh! Still, all fine now and I'm back on track. And as is the way with these things I remember why I set it aside. Garter stitch, grey and tiny speckles. Yes please. This skein of yarn from The Uncommon Thread has been in my medium to long term stash for some time just waiting for the right moment.
