My lashes are real, thank you very much. No, I don't use make-up. But when I do, I don't know how. That dress, size 38, won't fit me. Fat, that's how you describe me. I'm not made of sugar and spice, all things nice. I'm not with the cheerleaders nor on the bleachers. -I skipped that class I'm made of spandex and cries, Ice cream and diets. Late night shows are my disco And God, he didn't pour the fabulous when he made me. I'm not your average girl So don't try to put me in that mold. e.m

It’s 100% okay not to look for the silver lining.

TL:DR; I like uplifting shows and Tamers is anything but uplifting in my mind, so because of that I kinda prefer shows that imo aren’t better than Tamers over it. It’s just preference

For one person their anxiety might be an overwhelming sense of dread that takes over and stops them from breathing and one of the best ways to deal with it might be to sit in a quiet room alone and just breath, connecting themselves to their surroundings, or to be quietly talked to and encouraged by a person they trust. These are the things most people connect to anxiety but every person is different and their anxiety can manifest in different ways. It took me about 6 months to work out that the restlessness and trapped feeling I would feel in my chest was anxiety because unlike some where anxiety makes them want to stop and hide, mine made me go mad from being idle and alone. I learnt that to deal with my anxiety I need someone I trust to take me out of the house, not ask me where I want to go or what I want to do, just take me somewhere spontaneous like the shops or on a drive and make casual conversation, not talk about anything too deep. These things calm me down. Unlike the general social understanding sitting in a quiet room, using grounding techniques, being spoken to, trying to breath in a certain way, all of these things make me feel even more anxious. I can't impress the importance that nobody is totally alike, we all feel things in unique ways. Just because your anxiety isn't textbook it doesn't mean you're not experiencing anxiety. Just because the 'normal' coping mechanisms don't work for you it doesn't mean you're out of options, you just have to find something that works for you. It'll be okay, I promise.
