on my first watch of e4 (cleo's pov) you know what struck me as really weird? - avid telling the town about shelby, before burning her house down.
he barely explained their conversation, he made it sound like shelby loved being a vampire more than a human, when he was asked 'what he offered her when she came back' he was vague for a while saying 'a nice safe place to stay, and food'
and with only that context, to me it sounded an awful lot like avid had confronted shelby and wanted her to come back to town. not her home, though. like he wanted to put her in the vampire jail, and that's not how the conversation happened at all.
avid had acted completely reasonable, he wasn't yelling at her or calling her a monster, but at the same time he didn't address any of the issues that shelby was rightfully calling out.
idk i feel like there's something to untangle there it still doesnt sit quite right with me
i kind of love the idea of v!apo and v!cherri being also cb!apo and cb!cherri because then that unlocks vaguely toxic doomed yuri and a whole host of fun angst to play with im ngl
i like the idea of hell being very personalised for vsmp like.
do you think in owen's afterlife he's trapped in oakhurst again, with all the cooling bodies of those he killed stacked around him, the stake still smouldering? when the pain of losing louis is fresh and raw?
do you think in pyro's afterlife he's back by the riverside, and he will never be able to escape the water clawing at his ears, where he had killed and been killed and become the beast he died as?
okay. fuck this. i'm writing my own happy ending for apokuna i don't care if it's canon or not

i'm wondering how much v!cleo was influenced by their mother... we know that their adopted mother was a vampire and killed their biological parents, and basically only took cleo under her wing so that they would be able to farm animals for them. was that a healthy relationship? cleo seems to reminisce on it fondly... but then again i'm not sure. cleo says that vampires can be good, but also cleo's hardly a prime example of that. are they following their role model for vampirism...? idk but i think its rly interesting
my planning for next avott fic 😭
im going to veylocke in
