and he taught Eve to do the same. to take charge, to lead others, company conduct. she was formed into the type of person that could take over for him, in every way. and so that's where she ends up. obviously I think she has complicated feelings about this, but also she's good at it, so she isn't sure about anything else that she might do. it's less so that they're cut from the same cloth and more so that he cut her from his cloth.
