Thanks to Laufey’s “Madwoman”, I’m happy that so many mixed Asians like myself are finding each other and gaining a sense of belonging. But I’m also kinda sad that they ever felt alone in the first place. Makes me feel incredibly grateful that I grew up in a place (Washington DC area) where being half Asian was as common and normal as breathing air. Nearly all the kids on my street were half Asian.
