they hum lightly as they look back to the book, euclase taking it as a go to continue. "we almost lost you last time. ghost is worried. please, be honest with me for once."

they look back staring eye to eye. "honest?" they ask as euclase nods. "please. i'm...begging you for everyones sakes."

"everyones, huh?" they ask and euc nods again. they sit there, a long silent pause for both as a flock of beetles outside fly out shading the radiant gem half darker and half lighter as lapis responds. "i'm planning-..."

"...to make you like me~."

ghost walks down the corridor, gripping their scythe closely after being given a once over from rutile. nothing a few cracks and hand needing attatchement didn't hurt.

'i almost...almost...'

'enough already.' they shoot straight up at the vocal thought in their head, no, at the one they share. 'flounder on and on about this and you WILL lose them idiot.'

'your not very good at comforting child.'

"YAGH!" ghost skips to the entrance the sound came from, knowing well the vocals of said shriek as they peer in finding euclase smacking lapis over the head with their clipboard.

“YOU SAID TO BE HONEST STOP HITTING ME!” they exclaimed trying to cover their head and nearly falling out of their chair running as euclase ran after them with a tint of silver and blue on their cheeks.
