Honestly, can never understate fun Etta was and what an icon she is. Yeah, there are a lot of fat jokes, even her name is one, but the fact she's so completely confident and fine with being fat, that she kicks so much ass and is genuinely an incredibly competent and badass sidekick who saves the day a ton...truly an inspiration.
Also the part where the Amazons say "oh yeah Etta's not under the subjugation of men so she's welcome on our island" and the fact the Holiday girls are always referred to as "Etta's girls" is amazing too. She was truly always a lesbian, it's only natural it was finally official in 2016ish.

Etta Candy, my girl!
Continuing my MAWS-verse post. I did a separate hypothetical animated series centering around our lovable Amazon back in 2024.
My Adventures With Wonder Woman!
It all started with a trend when we were all begging for a Wonder Woman animated series to be made. At the time, I didn't know much about her lore. Only the ones from her animated appearances and the 2017 movie.
Here's the initial redesign I did when I was making the MAWS-verse Justice League.
(A friend of mine convinced me to make her taller, so I gave her 4 more inches lol)
After finishing my MAWS-verse Justice League, I decided to ride the Wonder Woman high and flesh her out in this universe.
I started making character sheets for her and the rest of thr main cast.

In 2025, I redesigned Wonder Woman for the 3rd time lol
My initial title for this series was "Sensational Wonder Woman", which is now carried over to my recent DC AU titles.
I decided to change the name to MAWWW after they announced My Adventures With Green Lantern. But I reused the title to create a separate series that wasn't tied to MAWS.

I have moved on from the MAWS-verse series, but some of the ideas I have for it were carried over to my current AU. She's become the center of it too which inspired me to name it after her: The Sensational DC Universe!
Because of this, it inspired me to start reading more of her comics. She became one of my top 3 favorite superheroes!
