Thank you @JoshSilverman for today's shout out on @CNN that Etsy sellers need financial support from the government like any other small business owner during this difficult time. Etsy sellers consist mostly of mico businesses, businesses that are run by 1 person. When these artists and artisans lose their source of income, they still have to pay their bills, yet they do not qualify for unemployment benefits nor do they qualify for business loans to stay in business.
When you purchase a handcrafted item from individual Etsy sellers you support 2.5 million sellers who sell goods through the Etsy platform. Any help is appreciated :)
