A miracle, after many failed attempts and miscarriages- one kitten managed to survive. She was their last attempt at an heir, the King and Queen were getting old, there was little time left... When the midwife came back into the royal bedchambers they broke the news that while two of the litter of three had perished, one managed to survive.
After handing over the newborn princess to the elated new parents, they couldn't help but notice something on her chest. A four pointed star, the mark of blessed of the god Magiajam. Upon looking back up for the midwife again, they were nowhere to be seen.
