DETECTIVE BENNETT DONT LOOK BEHIND YOU THERES AN UGLY ASS MF!!
Really giving off MAJOR ethan bennet clayface vibes, I also really love how the color of the clay looks alot more like pottery clay, which is really awesome especially since that it seems this version of clayface will be genuinely be using his hands in order to form or create things kinda like how ya do in pottery, let's just hope Batman doesn't eff up with this one like he did with absolute poison ivy since I don't think this man will inherently be evil ^^;
Split chapter 4 (Coverless)

Characters: Bruce Wayne/Batman. Selena Kyle/Cat Woman. Barbara Gordon/Bat girl. Dick Grayson/Robin. The Joker. Ellen Yin. James Gordon. Ethan Bennett. Alfred Pennyworth.
Summary:
Different universes - different rules. Somewhere, something works without a flaw, somewhere it ends up being flawed. And the consequences of such a flaw might be… catastrophic.
As promised! Enjoy!! :D
In 2004's The Batman, they couldn't use Harvey Dent so they created Ethan Bennett:
He's Bruce's best friend instead, and he's one of two Detectives assigned to track and take down Batman (alongside Detective Yin). He inevitably gets captured by Joker and tormented for a bit before being chemically turned into the first (and technically the second) Clayface:
And his character arc goes over how much of a struggle it is to rehabilitate, even when you really really want to just be yourself again — and how easy it is to give it up when everybody already assumes you're a monster.
If Ethan and Bruce's relationship is anything like BruHarv/TwoBats, it's just meant to be, bruh 🥹

THE BATMAN 2004 CHARACTER ART FROM THE OFFICIAL STYLE GUIDE :o)

(The Batman Strikes! #16): Well, this is probably the silliest way they could've ended this comic. The Joker was actually being impersonated for like 50% of the issue, and when he learns Clayface (disguised as him) successfully stole the batmobile, he begs Batman to let him drive the car too. That...ends poorly for him. But i still find this really funny.
It's like he just found his cat in the most random place
