With each passing day, I'm looking foward to Eternal Faith more and more
He knows our hearts & minds
âAnd he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for Godâs people in accordance with the will of God.â (Romans 8:27)
Itâs so amazing that the Spirit keeps us connected to God. That even when we canât find the right wordsâGod knows how we feel and what we want to say. He knows us better than anyone. Even better than we know ourselves.
âI knew you before I formed you in your motherâs womb.â (Jeremiah 1:5)
The Spirit is what guides us. It knows whatâs right and leads us to that in our hearts. He knows whatâs in our hearts more than we do.
âBut the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7)
"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.â (1 Chronicles 28:9)
God will always know our motives and innermost thoughts. Thankfully, even when the enemy tries to put intrusive thoughts in our minds to wage war against usâGOD knows us deeper than surface, passing (intrusive) thoughts.
What we must do is have faith and not fear.
HE cares
Have you ever felt smallâthat no one cares about you and you feel helpless? That nothing you do seems to turn out right?
Iâve had days like this and Iâm sure weâve all felt this way at some point in our lives. Itâs normal to feel lost and unsure. To be sad because things you plan are currently unknown. Itâs scary. But when we look back in The Scriptures, a lot of people have felt this emotional distress at one point or another in their lives. Take Job for example, he did everything right and still all he had was taken away. But Job did the right thing, He turned to God.
He took his complaints and frustrations to Him. He questioned God. A lot. And quite boldly! Iâm always scared to talk to God the way Job did. Though he never offended or ridiculed or even blamed God. He just questioned Him and everything He does.
And one question of his in particular got my attention...
âWhy are human beings so important to you? Why pay attention to what they do? You inspect them every morning and test them every minute.â ââ(Job⏠â7:17-18âŹ)
Job literally asked God: âwhy do you care about us?â
When God [finally] answers Job, He reminds him who it is heâs talking to. God reminds Job how great HE is. He goes on to remind him of all the great things Heâs done. He reminds him He created the earth. Him and Him alone.
Out of all His Creation, weâre the only ones who question everythingâquestion Him. We of all creatures are the ones who question why He made us. Why He cares for us but we shouldnât be! There are a ton of verses in the Bible that remind us to NOT WORRY and leave it all in Godâs Hands!
âGive all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.â (1 Peter 5:7)
âwhat is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?â (Psalm 8:4)
See, we are little but only compared to our God. And He doesnât see us as âlittleâ when that means helpless or insignificant. He sees us as His Creation, His Children.
