What we figured out is: you're not supposed to be doing anything greatly new. Sure, you would be imagining different things, happier things. But you imagine them just the same way you imagine everything else. A dramatic movie playing in your head to a song? Yes, that counts. You questioning what you should eat or drink next? That counts too. The memory of sensations you once experienced? All of it counts.

So don't try to find a new way to imagine, do it lightly! For example, if you want to be some place else, imagine yourself there. Just imagine, nothing more to it. Examine the place, if you want. Go around, touch things. Do whatever you want. You're already there. So you don't need to get there. And apply the same principle to everything else.

Aj: God, this took so long. We learnt some stuff at least.

Pitch: Mainly that we're stupid.

Aj: Yeah. Can you believe we deleted our sketch first, and then decided to do lineart after all? On top of the colors? On the same layer? But, in any case, go on with the backstory.

Pitch: This piece is inspired by a flight we took... one of the first. With Sandman's dreams newly guarded (By fluffy unicorns, of all things. I get being petty, but did you have to be unoriginal about it too?) and that flat cheese wheel in the sky, getting up above is a rarity.

Aj: So you asked him to spy on Sandy.

Pitch: Spying is a strong word. Just to find out his schedule.

Aj: Which probably involved stalking.

Pitch: Whatever Jack did is on his own conscience.

Aj: Yeah, right.

Pitch: So, knowing where the Sandman would be on the next New Moon, we could avoid him.

Aj: So you had your "totally only training aerial maneuvers here" flight, and then thanked him weirdly.

Pitch: ...It's the old style.

Aj: Yeah, yeah, press his knuckles to your forehead and stare him down with those shiny eyes, nothing more to it.

Pitch: So you would scold me for being grateful?

Aj: I am tormented by your obsession with him day and night, and you don't let me even think of the Tooth Fairy.

Pitch: You want to woo the Tooth Fairy, go get your own body to do it with.

Aj: You're no fun :P
