my theory is that -?- was originally the nickbot(?? is that what we’re calling them?)’s software. we see in ettsth that at the very least a few of the nickbots have become their own people (wasn’t Nick saying they only had software?? does all software eventually grow into a more conscious state given time??? wait is that how everyone woke up in the first place???????) so we know it’s possible. Like the impression I got was at first -?- was just following their code but then over time they developed into their own person.
