semifinal 2 today! my opinions on the semi 1 songs:
Satoshi - Viva, Moldova! very good :D the shaky cameras and the silly bouncing goobers on the screen ALSO THE HARMONIES IN THE CHORUSES????????
FELICIA - My System incredible, didnt change too much from the melfest performance but was what it needed to do its job also this silly lil part where she flicks around the lasers was so fun :3
Lelek - Andromeda AAAAAAHHHHHHHH starting with one flaoting was so cool, vocals were incredible and the performance was jsut AFHAILKHGHSDAKGHKSHDKGF
AKYLAS - Ferto ferto mou ferto mou ferto ferto mou ferto mou ferto ferto mou ferto mou ferto the bridge was great, final choruses were odd but cool the scooter was... interesting? minus points for maybe being AI visuals but ill believe that when i get a reliable source
Bandidos de Cante - Rosa slow song, nice at the part it was but nothing rlly happened in it? i think that violin section was live? she was mic'd up so just odd that noone talked about it but ok ig colour choices were... odd... could have qualified with some changes like outfits being bland but oh well what can we do
Bzikebi - On Replay very funny watching them fall from 8th in qualifying odds to 15 within the day of rehersal images theres no way the giants on the leds werent ai tho like they werent made any other way ._. (ik they said they werent but i dont believe them) vocals were overall weak except for some parts, wasnt rlly in time and just didnt work
Sal de Vinci - Per Sempre Si so fun! italian flag pulling a bucks fizz pt.2 i thought the vocals on the big notes at the end of the choruses was weak but like idk???? energy on stage was great and i loved the performance :D
Linda L. + Pete P. - Liekinheitin live violin was great vocals were on point theyre the favourites for a reason
Tamara Z. - Nova Zora UNPOPULAR OPINION: did not deserve to qualify vocals were ehhhhh, staging was empty, choreo didnt feel polished enough to reach the final oh and i just dont like the song ._. please dont attack me for this
Vanilla Ninja - Too Epic To Be True was better when it was in key and not fucked up by eesti laul's shitty audio honestly wouldnt have minded if it qualified over belgium good job ig?
Sarah E. - Fire not enough fire
ESSYLA - Dancing on the Ice SUCH A DESERVED SHOCK QUALIFIER STAGING, VOCALS, CHOREO WAS ALL PERFECT IM SO HAPPY FOR HER (as per my previous post, i am less happy if she's a zionist though that goes with anyone in any situation #freepalestine)
Lion C. - Solo Quiero Mas GAGGED by this performance, sooooo goood his little wink was so fun and the black and white subtitled part was INCREDIBLE for the doubters saying he wouldnt qualify.... go eat your hats or smth idk
SENHIT + Boy George - Superstar so glad they brought in a radiator-like prop and put boy george there! rest of the performance was mehhhh like why even bring him???? he sang 2 lines??????? wait no sorry, 4 lines but sang like an NPC repeating a voiceline
ALICJA - Pray yes. choreo was great vocals were PERFECTION deserved that qualification yes i was a doubter no i am not anymore i have repented
LAVINA - Kraj Mene incredible. this song wasnt even close to being one i liked before like 3 days ago but its SOOOO GOOOD and theyre so vocally talented im so happy for them
hmmmmmmm... i feel like im forgetting someone oh well (i thought his vocals were kinda shit and you could see the cameraman in the diamond thing so like thats that)
