Okay what’s this thing with Hyde having big hands?! I’ve read maybe 3 or 4 fanfics that’s mention this I’m so confused lol😂 I never noticed his hands being larger than average for someone his height, maybe I’ll rewatch some episodes and pay closer attention haha
They’re pretty big? 😂 Big palms. Long (but not feminine) fingers. It’s a physical trait I noticed and made a part of my story Shade, specifically, one scene from Jackie’s POV.
A fellow T7S fic author at the time (and a friend) liked that description of mine (I’d recently posted the chapter it was in; she’d recently read it), and so she added a similar description to the next chapter of her own story that she was concurrently writing and posting while I posted Shade.
I can’t tell you why other stories you’ve read describe Hyde’s hands similarly. Maybe they were inspired by my description in Shade, too, or my friend’s story. Or they came up with it themselves before I ever wrote Shade in a story I haven’t read. Or came up with it on their own, period, by spotting what I had.
But I’ve seen in T7S fic (and I’m sure it’s not a phenomenon exclusive to T7S fic) that a fic writer will come up with an idea. Another T7S fic writer likes it then uses it (though differently). And then it proliferates through T7S fics, sometimes for years.
An early example of this is Hyde’s secret box full of personal, private, meaningful items. That box shows up in a lot of stories by a lot of authors. It was so common that it became fanon, and I used it in @those70scomics. I think I also used it in Hyde’s Long Way Home. Maybe I used it in other fics, as well. I can’t remember. 😅
Phoenix recognized Winslow on the rooftop but kept acting like she didn't because of the cameras. He realized she did, and, because of the camera, faked stabbing himself with theatre blood, which is the reason for the blood looking so fucking ketchup-y in that scene. Swan fell for it and explained the contract to him. The next day Phoenix pretends to fall for everything and marry Swan. Winslow stabs Swan and fakes being wounded again. Phoenix gets to be alone with him, he gets up and they run off. In this essay I will-
The laugh track is such a huge thing about T7S how would it be without it?
Quieter? 😅
Honestly, I barely register laugh tracks anymore. They’re like white noise unless someone’s laugh in the audience stands out (in an obnoxious way). In one TV show (not T7S) during an episode, a guy laughs like a honking goose throughout, and it’s so distracting.Â
The Coexistence of Opposites - An Ethical Reflection on the Tension That Shapes Us - by Lidia Popa
Lidia Popa – writer – Romania      Moral life is not built on monolithic certainties, but on vital tensions. Every choice, every relationship, every human gesture unfolds within a field of forces that oppose, attract, and question each other. Ethics is not the denial of conflict, but its conscious inhabitation. In this reflection, we will explore how opposites—affective, cognitive,…

Genealogy of the Wind - Toward a Poetics of Inheritance and Becoming - Reflections and Poem's by Lidia Popa
The Archive of the Wind     To speak of the genealogy of the wind is to invoke a lineage that resists containment—a heritage not of possessions, but of movements, silences, and tremors. It is not a genealogy inscribed in stone, but one whispered across generations, carried in the breath of those who came before and those who will come after. It is a memory that does not settle, but wanders,…
