The nexts character in our series “Pedro’s Characters as Tarot Cards is “The Wanderer”, from the Esquire Spain short movie with the same name. Also known as “El Errante”, he represents the 7 of Cups.

7 of Cups is the card of possibilities and choices. It’s about illusions, fantasies, not being able to decide from so many options. A person with this energy is a dreamer, imaginative, caught up in a world of possibilities. They see life through the lens of wonder and create their own world. Dreamy, ethereal, with a distant or contemplative gaze, sometimes seemingly distant or detached, maybe a little unfocused and lost in daydreams. Idealistic and with a rich inner world, they might be creative, artistic and imaginative.

El Errante is a character that, as his “name” says, a Wanderer. He is always on the road, always traveling, not in a rush, not really going anywhere but going everywhere. He walks in a desert with his guitar on his back, gets to a house with a pool and invites you to it. He tries a nice camera and see what its lens will show, plays with the dog and plays the guitar, carefree and like a traveler that will never stay because he has so many possibilities out there in the world. He’ll soon be on the road driving his nice Mustang, on to the next possibility. He has that dreamy and ethereal demeanor, the contemplative gaze, seeming to be detached, sometimes distant. The Wanderer comes across as idealistic, creative and artistic, with his guitar and his camera, even his vintage car. For these reasons, this daydreamer is our 7 of Cups.
