My partner and I had never booked a vacation this early in the year, but the end of 2022 and the first few months of 2023 were so stressful that we noped off to Fuerteventura for a week. I finally tested negative on the morning before the flight, so that was a close call. Was still a little weak, but improving every day.
I had the Kolarichrome IR filter with me and took a lot of "what if plants were red" photos. I love this island and infrared photography, so to be finally able to shoot this type of image with only one filter and next to no additional processing is a dream come true.
That week was maybe the most relaxing and visually imprinting vacation we've ever had. I always soak in every moment there, but this time, it was even more pronounced. At some point in 2024 or 2025, we'd like to stay on the island for four to six weeks, really getting to explore things on our own there. <3
