2. Who they want to please the most.

Oh, that’s easy! Elizabeth, definitely. He doesn’t always want to show it, but whatever George does, he always secretly wants his beloved wife to approve it! He loves making her smile, so he can’t stop complimenting her and buying her presents.

4. What they would do if they had one month to live.

Hmmm, that’s a more difficult one! I think George would make sure that Elizabeth and Valentine are secured, as well as his business. I’m pretty sure he would do his best to do something that would keep hunting Ross even after his death. xD Since George is a very practical man, he would totally start off with his business, to ensure that his bank is in safe hands and wouldn’t die along with him. I believe he would like his name to endure, and he could try to make his death memorable. As far as he is a businessman, the human part of him would try to spent his final month with the ones he loves the most, particularly Elizabeth and Valentine, but perhaps even Cary as well. That would include really long and honest conversations (Elizabeth), spending as much time as possible with his son, and continuing his profitable schemes with Cary (because that’s what they share the most - business).

10. How they deal with pain.

Keeping it withing himself and using defense mechanisms. George tries to hide his feelings for most of the time, and he rarely talks of his insecurities or pain, which is obviously not healthy at all and actually makes his internal wounds even more painful. He tries to be a gentleman, and - in his eyes - a true gentleman doesn’t let his emotions to drive his actions. As a result, he constantly wears a mask of pride and emotionlessness, but sometimes it’s just too much and his pain is visible in his eyes, or he starts muttering and nervously playing with his hands. When alone, George can’t prevent thinking about his past, and when he ever cries, he’s crying when nobody sees that, because that makes him really angry (he thinks emotions are signs of weakness).
