If it doesn't feel, what's the value of the things it vowed to protect? Death? It's immortal. But immortality is immeasurable, a slow semi-conscious suffering of existence. This is why immortals search for long living creatures, for broken little things to color their life in wrong, new, queer, and unique colors. If you can't remember it, surely it should be new?
