They were smiling shyly at her, an expression they didn’t often wear but Miriam liked a lot. Then they started to sing and Miriam almost regretted asking them to, because her face was on fire and she was sure her expression was absolutely ridiculous. Almost regretted it. (*artist's note: added a "oh no" thought bubble next to Miriam's head in-comic.) “You’re grumpy sometimes but you still make me smile every moment with you is a moment worthwhile I want to spend good days and bad days with you every day is made better if you’re there too Whether the world is ending or I’m just sad (*artist's note: when the comic gets to this point, instead of showing Kiwi singing, a stark-black and white memory of the two of them standing in front of a fracture in the ground, and a black hole in the sky above them, is shown.) I know you’ll be there for me when it gets bad when I’m with you I can be truly myself (*artist's note: a memory of Miriam carrying a sleeping Kiwi on her broom above the clouds in the sky is shown.)
